I was going to send him an email to let him know but I want to see the look on his face.It will be priceless. Two of the bosses will be thrilled boss number 3 thats a whole other story.

This week has been a bit crazy and I will get back over here to catch up on everyone very soon. Sally, thank you for the offers!

If I don't make it back here by tomorrow morning....everyone have a great start to next week! :goodvibes

Good Monday morning Freaps!! I barely looked at the computer all weekend. I worked on Saturday and we went to the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday. It was a beautiful day and they have a Flower Festival every spring:hippie: . We also had a picnic lunch and all had a great time.

I did check on the free dining this morning bright and early. We don't have a Disney Visa but I will be booking on Thursday. Luckily I won't have to change our dates at all since it seems they are letting you check in on the last date and carry it through your whole trip. The only "bad" thing is we have to add another day at the beginning.:lmao: So we will have to check in on the 20th of Sept. instead of the 21st. Darn.:rotfl2:

Well, our hope of getting a GP puppy is gone. Every single one of them died.:sad2: The good thing is that now we know we are ready for another dog. We just have to find the right one.

That is so sad! Good luck finding a new member of your family...you will know when it is the right one!

Now that you know you are ready, you can do some research without any pressure..

Who knows what happened?:confused3 She said that the momma squashed them by laying on them but that sounds odd to me.:confused3 I think we'll be looking elsewhere for our next dog.

It's another great day here. In the 70's and sunny. As soon as the kiddos wake up from their nap, we are going for a wildflower walk/hunt. I know some are blooming already down in our woods because we can see them from the road.:hippie:

I have heard of some large breeds doing that. That's why you are supposed to put momma and babies in a whelping box that has a little ledge that protrudes int the box from the sides a few inches above the bottom ..supposedly the babies can scoot/be pushed under it and momma won't crush/smother them. It would be very odd that all of the puppies died at once, even from a disease..:confused3

Happy flower hunting!:flower3:

Hi freaps,
I went back to work today. I did pretty good. I had 482 E-mails. I never checked my E-mail from home the whole time. Boss 1 and 2 where so happy to see me. Boss 3 even was happy to see me. He told me he now knows what a butthead he has been. I told him that it is nice that he knows that but he is on his own still. I guess the accounting deparment had a feild day with him when I was out:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Karma is a good thing

Kellie, congratulations on your first day back..Now you really know how much you are needed and appreciated!! yeesh, 482 emails...:scared:

It's nice when butthead acknowledges that he is a butthead, but no, that wouldn't make me feel bad for his enlightenment.

Hope you didn't overdo, are you tuckered out?

I am a little tired. But I spent most of the day at my desk trying to fix the crap they messed up. :rotfl2: Boss 1 and 2 told me they can never be without me again.:rotfl2: They made such a mess of things. It will take me a month to fix it all:scared1:

:worship: Kellie- must feel good to know you were missed! :worship:

Wow, Kellie, you must have the constitution of a brick wall!! Glad you are moving forward but don't push too hard....spoken like a nagging mother. :goodvibes

My DS has a small part in a play and that is taking place this week. Had a couple of big band concerts last week.

Our 15 year old dog passed away this weekend. He was a 'pound puppy'. I guess his mother was a pure bred black lab and 'a travelin' man' got through the fence at her and all that litter of puppies ended up at the pound for adoption. He was a good dog and very, very gentle. He had been slowing down since January and we knew he wouldn't last much longer.

Then, two of our cows had calves yesterday so we have two new babies on the property. They arrived a week early but that is normal for red angus. We have a few more due next week so they should be arriving any day now. We have such a small 'ranch' that it is still a big deal when calves arrive around here. :rotfl:

This summer is going to be sooooo busy with all of the repairs we need to do....both to the house and the outbuildings. I am not looking forward to it but it has to be done!

Sounds like everyone else is busy, busy too! :thumbsup2

Busy being a winner mom.....DD's birthday is tomorrow (April 8) and I have been baking her birthday cakes - we only do store bought for actual parties, I love "trying" to decorate them for the actual day :goodvibes Both kids are calling in to school tomorrow and we are taking a trip to the zoo. She wants to go to the playground and bowling too so we'll see what the day brings :thumbsup2 I get out of making supper too because she wants Papa Gino's for supper. The only thing I will have to fix is her 1 other request....Root Beer Floats  those are easy enough. Here are her cakes - 1 is an 8" round the other is a 4" with a mini cupcake for the nose....her favorite animals (and stuffed babies) are her Webkinz hippo and her Falingoes (the way she says it :lovestruc ) And as many of you remember in the fall she was a Falingo for Halloween......
