Hey fellow freaps! Just checking in tonight. It is my birthday and my DS11 has spoiled me all evening- yummy dinner and cake he made all by himself. My DS12's reaction- "Really, it's your birthday today?" . Hope everyone is well. Sorry to hear about your tooth Madd. Try to catch a rerun of the MTV movie awards. JD was very hot accepting his awards. The man does not age. It was like watching 21 Jump Street in my dorm room .

Madd-don't worry about Karlee. She'll probably love it all. Both of mine did just fine on most of the rides(even though DS was just 2 at the time but since he is a giant he could still ride most stuff ). The only rides they were less than thrilled with were ToT and Dinosaur. I think they would do Dinosaur again but ToT will have to wait a while. They both loved Splash and BTMR. .

My little bit HATED Dinosaur. He loves dinos in general, but that ride was too much for him. I don't know if I'll ever get him back on it.

Madd, are we meeting up in parks? My soon to be 7yr old can ride with your Karlee on some of the rides.

Sure we can meet up one day- I go by TGM on which days to be in what parks.

Do you think MK? You can't really go wrong with most of those rides- If Karlee is afraid of something we can always do POTC or IASW

My baby has finally made it!

Carly is now 48"

We celebrated by going to Holiday World on Saturday so she could ride her first roller coaster.

She also got to ride the Liberty Launch:

She has been waiting for this day for 3 years!

Oh my gosh, she looks so tiny in that big seat! I am a wimp...I would have been sweating her riding the rides! I guess I send my kids mixed messages...I wear my fears for them on my sleeve! Now that they are bigger than me, they clearly don't take me seriously any more. It is probably a survival technique on their part.

Madd, I am sorry to hear about your root canal but you got a good DDS and didn't feel anything....well, except for the pain of parting with your $$$! My teeth aren't that great either and I am SURE I have built a pool or two for DDSs in the past!

HRH, did your DH make it out to Montana OK? We have been having cool, rainy weather in our area but I heard that the Bear Tooth Highway had a closure due to snow, I think.

I worked the Primary election yesterday and those are always such long days! DH has his colonoscopy today and he says he is feeling weak because he "needs chocolate". I wonder what his first meal after the procedure will be? Tomorrow, we are going to Missoula for the day. I am really looking forward to it...for one thing, there is a Macy's and I can use the freebie underwear coupon.

Madd, I am sorry to hear about your root canal but you got a good DDS and didn't feel anything....well, except for the pain of parting with your $$$! My teeth aren't that great either and I am SURE I have built a pool or two for DDSs in the past!

I am cracking up at your DH- sounds like something we women would say......"Help.....chocolate...I am feeling weak......"

I am kinda PO'd about my teeth- The only thing I have ever had to have done was, a 6 months cleaning and a filling here and there!

Now I had to open a can of worms- b/c I went to the dentist and said take out all the silver fillings and pop in some white ones! I have abig mouth and when I laugh I don;t like the silver fillings showing I just thought it would look nicer.

I think I did have a cavity in the tooth that had the root canal- but you know the saying- leave well enough alone-I have a few more silver fillings that I want out and I am crossing my fingers everything goes smoothly with those.....after I get the darn crown on the root canal.

I don't have a choice. I have to have my silver fillings removed and replaced. They have been in there since I was a kid and they are starting to fail. I have to wait until later in the year to be sure there aren't any other immediate needs. The insurance has a max it will pay out, per family. So if one child uses it all up, everyone else would be out of pocket.
I'm afraid that the fillings are too deep and I'll have to do the root canal & cap route with them.

I was very surprised that it did not hurt- I am THE biggest baby known to man! Let me say, If *I* can do it- anyone can!! Yes- the money portion is more painful than the procedure

Well- if your insurance is maxed by then- go for the Capital One Dental Card. But your doc has to participate with them- ck with your dentist they might be par with them or another type of credit service.

They have so many pmt options. I chose the interest free for a year right now- but I am sure everyone knows- be sure to pay in full in that year or the interest will accrue @ 22% !!!!!

I would like the points on my Disney card- but I like the interest free much more! DH and I do not even have any dental insurance.

While going down the deck stairs last night in my flip-flops and I slipped and went down the steps (the steps were wet) I hit my head really badly, huge bump, with a cut, banged up a few ribs, and hurt my neck (which I am already disabled because of) Spent the AM at the DR, CAT scan and X-rays. On top of no sleep I am the walking dead. I couldn't believe I fell. I haven't fallen in years. The bump on my head swelled up to size of an orange!

You can not believe the pain I am in. Not the best of days.

Be careful walking in flip flops, they are killers.

OMG!!!! I hope you are okay!!! Did the doctor give you anything to help - some nice muscle relaxors or something or are they worried about concussion and don't want you taking drugs? Flip flop injuries suck! Hope you feel better

We had some crazy rain in NJ- it was so hot and humid today you can just feel the moisture in the air- it felt like....yuk!
