I just want to say thanks to all that post the freebies. There is nothing better than seeing your mail box full and knowing it is not bills. DH was always laughing at me for signing up for all the freebies and telling me I was wasting my time. Now he loves to see if there is anything for him. We now say if it is free it is for me. Also DD who is at college is hooked and has hooked her dorm pals. They have freebie sign up night. So again thbks again to all.

I'm on the couch with the computer. Flint (the yorkie), Violet (the pug) snuggled next to me. My kids watching Toy Story, and the cats are all curled around the wood stove...

We were an old married couple *BEFORE* we had the kids

I remember a friend calling us up at 10 pm when we were in university and asking if we wanted to go for pizza (I was 21 yrs old at the time and living with dh). When I told him that we were going to bed he replied...

"I'm sorry I thought I had called my friend Rhonda that I went to High School with - but obviously I've reached the Sunnyside Retirement Home by mistake"

Cheeky guy... Now we live 500 miles apart and he still shows up on our doorstep some weekends

I won a bag of Montana Coffee Traders' Huckleberry coffee beans in a fundraising basket auction and I don't drink caffeine and DH doesn't drink flavored coffee. I think I will split the bag into two bags of beans and I will send the 2 bags out to the first 2 DISers that post they would like to try this coffee on this thread. REMEMBER: You need a coffee bean grinder to use this coffee.

I hit the Victory dollar spot yesterday at my lunch time and got a bunch of those mummy flashlight's with fiber optic things coming out of the head. We'll take them to MNSSHP next year. (5 kids 6 and under!) I got one of those Giant flippers that will be great for pancakes and I found out last night that it's great for taking pizza's out of the oven.
Ok, speaking of pizza's did anyone else have a recalled Totino's Pizza? I had already baked it and cut it and put it on the plates when my mom told me over the phone to make sure it wasn't in the recall, and it was! My DS3 had his heart set on pizza for movie night! Luckily I had some other frozen pizza, different brand. (Guess I could have ordered, but it would have taken too long.)

I had to check what I had in the freezer, too, when I heard the recall on the news. We also had a different brand. These recalls are almost enough to make me go back to cooking and extending the veggie garden...almost.
