FREAP CHAT ~ Everyone Welcome!

Yes, I was at the one on Victory Drive also. I saw those mummy ones, don't know why I passed them by, they were cute.. (5 KIDS 6 AND UNDER????!!-Wow, you sure have your hands full!) I also got a bunch of Scooby Doo pens-pkg of 6 for 25 cents.. I am wondering what day they will mark the rest of the Halloween stuff down to 75%. Target doesn't let their stuff hang around for long, maybe today, but surely tomorrow. If you are interested in cute t-shirts, as of yesterday they hadn't moved the boys Halloween long and short sleeved t-shirts to the Halloween stuff, so they still had a bunch left. The LS ones were $3, SS were $2. They were still in the boys department, so no one knew they were still there.. I can wear a boys XL, so I even got a couple for myself!

YIKES! about your pizza incident, what great timing your mom has! I haven't found a frozen pizza that I really like, so we always order Papa Johns' or Siciliano's..They are quicker than baking one!! We did have a few of the Banquet pot pies that were recalled a little while ago. It is really scary how you can't trust anything anymore..

Not trying to sound like a stalker, but do you live out on the islands? Don't be specific, of course, just wondered since you are close to the new Target...We live on Whitemarsh Island.

Well, all 5 aren't mine. In fact, just the two below. :) But, our friends who live too far from us will be going too and they have two our kids ages and another new baby. :scared1: They'll out number us!
Nope, I don't live on the Islands. lol. We live on the Westside. BUT, I work in midtown (right across from Memorial), so the new Target is just a couple minutes away on the Parkway!

I just checked Houseparty.com & I see that the Closer Party has been moved to the side. I wonder if they've sent out the invitations yet. The Clairol box was great. There weren't any new parties yet though :guilty:

Maggimus,

I love the cute dogs. And Kate the kids are so cute also.

I am all moved into the new place and now have to internet when I can find places like the library. It is hard as I don't have all my bookmarks and can't remember sites for freebies. There is not even service at the new place.

I was wondering if anyone has tried the scrubbing bubbles automatic shower cleaner? It is so expensive but if it would keep hard water marks off the new shower it would be worth it. Also is there a coupon out for the purchase? I just can't see spending $25 unless it works really well.

I just checked my emails and they have put off the deadline due to overflow of applications. So it hasn't been decided yet!

I bought the scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner and didn't like it all all and wrote to the company and received a check from them for $24.00, so all in all it was free, so if you don't like it you could/will get your money back.

Deb,

What didn't you like about it? Did it take off the hard water marks? Did it not clean the shower well?

I just want something to keep the water marks off the new walls. I clean the shower after each use but don't have time to wipe down the walls. I sure do thank you for a quick answer.

It was nice that they gave you your money back. Smart of you to call and request a refund.

I was also wondering how to keep water marks off the stainless sink? I turn on and off the water so many times. I tried to wipe it each time but it is also getting to be a pain.

Good things, blazing fast net at the library!:woohoo:

I use The Method spray post showers, and it seems to do a pretty good job with daily cleaning, but I still have to scrub it down at least bi-weekly, if not more, depending on what DH has cleaned in the bathtub. We need a utility sink in the basement badly!! He cleasns the air cleaner filters in there, gross. I guess I should be happy the air is getting cleaned of that junk though. Anyway, now that I am focused and on task to the matter at hand again. . .the good thing about the spray is it has no harmful chemicals- so the kids can spray it too- and it smells sooooo good.

Thought I'd post this here too, as this where we are supposed to be chatty.

Yes, ELF is always $1. It is their philosophy to sell affordable makeup.
Regarding the lead, which is a completely understandable concern, I got this from their website...

Lead in Lipstick, gross!! You may want to know that an October report by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics found that 61% of 33 top-brand lipsticks tested contained lead, these included L’Oreal, Cover Girl, and Christian Dior to name a few. Lead is know if be linked to learning and behavioral problems. Rest assured we care about our customers, and all of our products are Lead FREE. For more information on what’s in your makeup bag check out http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com/index.php?nothanks=1 .

Sure I didn't save big, :rotfl: , but shipping was reasonable and I didn't have to use gas and go to Target & buy other stuff I don't need while I'm there. :thumbsup2

Five kids under the age of 6 in WDW sounds like a laugh riot...as long as you can keep your sense of humor about you..;) BTW, your children are gorgeous..I know wrong to say about a pirate..but he is, just don't tell him..

We've "spoken before" maybe by PM..I remember you working across from Memorial..at the school, right?

I was so excited when they opened the new Target..I thought, now I don't have to make my weekly trek across the county to get to the other one..I still go out there to see what they have left in their clearance..I'm a Target junkie....Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........

Yep, I remember talking before, I'm on the church-side of Calvary. Love it here.:cheer2: Plus, Target is a nice new bonus! Maybe they could just mail my checks there? :headache:

Yeah, I went back to Target today. lol. I got a bunch of costumes at 75% off for Christmas gifts. As you can see from the pic, my kids dress up year round. lol. That pic was in Feb! I got the horse ($7.50), the lion (3.24), the chicken (4.99), the bunny dress (4.99), and the leopard print dress (4.99).
I got some of those shirts too. They moved them over to the Halloween section! I got one for DS and DD I got an outfit for next year and one for this year that isn't even Halloween looking. it's a purple shirt that says princess and polka dot pants. :goodvibes LOVE 75% off! HRH, Thanks for the heads up on those! $3 outfit!

I have just found out that I have been accepted into an online community to give input on Disney movies. I am so excited, I can't even begin to process- most likely because I do not get selected for anything except things at work that I don't want to do!!! Not even sports, although I am klutzy as all get out, so I would not pick me to be on a team either.

It is one of those things like Pinecone where you can't discuss issues, blah blah, but I will definitely keep my Freaps in mind when it comes to the things I can share!!!!

And completely off topic from that. . .does anyone on here own dauschaunds? (or however you spell it) That one in the pedigree commercial is too doggone cute, and I have been begging my DH to get one, since I think the huge beast (Mongo the mastiff) needs a little buddy. But he thinks they are yip-py dogs. Any input? I really, really want one!!!

We have a standard Dachshund and Beagle. The Dachshund, Pavlov, is sixteen years old and still going strong. He has had back surgery (herniated disk), stomach surgery (ate the plastic paper thing from the bottom of a meat package which is put in the package to absorb the juices) and ear surgery (from the Beagle chewing on his ear when she was a puppy). We call him our $20,000 baby. We even had to put in a ramp so he can go outside without our carrying him. But what I really wanted to share is that standard Dachshunds do not yap. They have a loud, deep bark. They sound like a big dog.

They definitely do have adult barks. Do you have a photo of your dog? He sounds so sweet. Poor thing!

You must have gone there right after I did this morning. I got to the t-shirts as the woman was moving them to the Halloween aisle..snagged a couple more, even larger sizes for whenever the boys grow into them. You're not going to believe what I bought there. I took DS's there Saturday to look for something, we were digging through all the junk. DS9 found this huge rubber animated MAGGOT -it lights up, wiggles, and slurps when you press the button. He thought that was the coolest thing he ever saw and he begged me for it. It was $7.50 even at half price, I said, "NO, that is stupid." Finally got him out of the store..then I went back today and it was still there-(surprise)now at 75% off. So , yes folks..it's true...I will buy ANYTHING at 75% off, even a wiggling, slurping, maggot. I'm going to save it for Christmas (how nice) or his birthday..they even had two, so no fighting between the boys...God, what's wrong with me??

I saw those little princess shirts-I was looking for one in adult sizes..no go..The little halloween leggings were cute, too.

Walmart had their stuff at 75% off, too. I bought some more little toys for prizes next year, a couple of creepy rubber masks that I will attach to bodies and put in my yard, a long black cape, and some little dangling creepy clowns, yes clowns. I will be hanging a dozen of them form the little tree in my front yard..55 cents each..for a creepy clown..:confused3 And I found pirate hats similar to JD's from POTC for $1.60..so I got three of them in case we ever go to Pirates and Princesses at WDW. Or next years Pirate Festival on Tybee Island. Did you get over to that this year..it was pretty cool..

I bet the people watchers were having a time with you today! Fun story!

Yeah, they were all watching from the safety of the tables with macho man.:rotfl:

I was just petrified it was going to run up my leg and they'd get to see the "lizard in my pants dance", not pretty since just a week or so earlier I had done the "spider jumped on my shoe dance" in my friends driveway.

I am so not into bugs and things that crawl close to the ground.
