Thanks for calling. What a day! I got DS ready for school drove there, went in and no lunch box or folder for notes.

I then came home and could not find my phone. I got bashed on the disability section and just feeling crappy cuz I had to leave my beautiful ranch and live in this city. I know in my heart that all of this is for my DS and it is so important we get the help he needs. It is only a year.

So everyone will have to take turns helping me find the phone. Thanks so much to Madd and everyone who really stepped up and helped me.

The phone was last see in DS hands, he hid it under his clothes.

I now have two addresses, two emails and I even can use a different last name. I hope to get freebies soon

Sorry your life is so challenging right now. Hope you get some relief soon. Are you now in Logan, Utah? My best friend was on the Logan Hot Shots for a while. Being a country girl myself I know how hard it would be to go from our farm to a city to live-even temporarily.

It is sooo hard to go into a city after being on the ranch sooo long. I feel like there is just no room to move here. Traffic, stores, people...give me back my horses!

Thanks for understanding. We took a bus to the "zoo" and when I cleaned out DS stroller I found a freebie cup from AARP in the basket. It was still in the box so I did get freebie fix today!

I'm right off I-64 in a little town between Mt. Sterling and Morehead(yep-that's actually it's name even has a college with VERY popular t-shirts for sale).

I know where you're talking. Imagine getting a Morehead Mom sweatshirt for Christmas.....yep, I did. My stepson went there a couple years. I wore that once out down here and NEVER again.

I just posted a response about your cell phone on the other thread. I was out of town yesterday and I just read about your dilemma this morning. I am a bit dingy and it doesn't translate well on a message board!

I am glad you found your phone....not much more frustrating, in my humble opinion! Sorry you had such a bad day yesterday, tho'.

I know what you mean about living in a city. We have lived most of our 20+ year marriage out on acreage and I have been asking DH how we will manage to live in town when we retire! [shudder]

I just discovered something about mypoints that may be of use.. if you get a bonus mail that's for their newsstand - earn 250 points for each one you try, or whatever.. click on it and go to the newsstand. You come to a page that says you can try magazines for 3 months free and get 250 points for each one you try. Well, if you read the fine print on the left side of the page it says:

"To earn points without selecting magazines please see Program and Delivery Details."

I went down to the bottom of the page and clicked on "Program and Delivery Details." Under the section titled "points details" it says you can earn 1,000 points by just filling out a form, without subscribing to anything. There is a link to click to do this. Quick and simple. I did this and lo and behold a month later 1,000 points are in my account! I hope there isn't a catch, but I haven't found one yet!

Bookgirl, Wes is watching sign time right now, and he loves it- they are doing signs that he knows today, so he is sitting in front if the TV doing the signs with the kids!! CUTE! I set the DVR to record it every day! TY!

I got the measuring kit from Fagor today! Gotta love these registries!

So, are any Freaps going to WDW in Feb? I am thinking we are going to make a Feb trip and an Oct trip in 2008, and skip the spring crowds. We won't be able to swim (too cold!!) but I think being able to go with less crowds will be better. Since the DDP stinks now, we are just going to get our AP's.
