I actually would have if it was a bug, but this poor little gold lizard was actually really cute. He looked just like the Geiko Gecko, only translucent and goldish. With really big black marble eyes.

I swear he looked at me like "oh please save me from the giant squealing beast thing". Stupid maitenence man, I probably could have walked away if he hadn't said step on it. I just knew the moment I left he was going to squash it somehow. My nephews love lizards and bugs, I just couldn't face them knowing in my heart that I abandoned the poor little lizard to the evil maitenence girley man.

I wonder how many karma points a lizard has and do I get extra points for the personal eeeeek factor that I endured?

You must have gone there right after I did this morning. I got to the t-shirts as the woman was moving them to the Halloween aisle..snagged a couple more, even larger sizes for whenever the boys grow into them. You're not going to believe what I bought there. I took DS's there Saturday to look for something, we were digging through all the junk. DS9 found this huge rubber animated MAGGOT -it lights up, wiggles, and slurps when you press the button. He thought that was the coolest thing he ever saw and he begged me for it. It was $7.50 even at half price, I said, "NO, that is stupid." Finally got him out of the store..then I went back today and it was still there-(surprise)now at 75% off. So , yes folks..it's true...I will buy ANYTHING at 75% off, even a wiggling, slurping, maggot. I'm going to save it for Christmas (how nice) or his birthday..they even had two, so no fighting between the boys...God, what's wrong with me??


I saw those little princess shirts-I was looking for one in adult sizes..no go..The little halloween leggings were cute, too.

Walmart had their stuff at 75% off, too. I bought some more little toys for prizes next year, a couple of creepy rubber masks that I will attach to bodies and put in my yard, a long black cape, and some little dangling creepy clowns, yes clowns. I will be hanging a dozen of them form the little tree in my front yard..55 cents each..for a creepy clown.. And I found pirate hats similar to JD's from POTC for $1.60..so I got three of them in case we ever go to Pirates and Princesses at WDW. Or next years Pirate Festival on Tybee Island. Did you get over to that this year..it was pretty cool..

(it went with our booth) and the girl thought we were dressing for that. BUT, it sounds cool. When was it? What do you do? Did you do the Seafood Festival this weekend?

This is my first post on Freaps, because I just got my first Freebies this week! I got a bird poster, a new Bible and a Pantene brunette sample. I was very excited. I thought it would take a lot more time to get some free stuff. I love the budget board. Thanks everyone for the freebies. It is my new favorite pastime, besides entering Disney sweepstakes.

Yeah, they were all watching from the safety of the tables with macho man.

I was just petrified it was going to run up my leg and they'd get to see the "lizard in my pants dance", not pretty since just a week or so earlier I had done the "spider jumped on my shoe dance" in my friends driveway.

I am so not into bugs and things that crawl close to the ground.

This is my first post on Freaps, because I just got my first Freebies this week! I got a bird poster, a new Bible and a Pantene brunette sample. I was very excited. I thought it would take a lot more time to get some free stuff. I love the budget board. Thanks everyone for the freebies. It is my new favorite pastime, besides entering Disney sweepstakes.

Good Idea on the pirate hats.
No we didn't even know about it. But apparently we looked like we were going. lol. We went to ACME to rent costumes for halloween and of course we were pirates. (it went with our booth) and the girl thought we were dressing for that. BUT, it sounds cool. When was it? What do you do? Did you do the Seafood Festival this weekend?

The Pirate Festival WAS cool.. It was about 5 weeks ago. There are a lot of "way out there" people in Savannha, have you noticed?? About half the people were dressed up in some pirate fashion, lots of JD wannabees and wenches. The parade was pretty nice for a small town thing. I took my boys, we didn't dress up or anything, just went to check it out. I twas down at the beach parking by the pier. They had a Thieves Market with food, tents with artwork, etc., and a very large tent with pirate apparel. I have some pictures of the parade, I will post them later..

Missed the Seafood festival..

It will probably be the weekend before I have a chance to sit down at home and upload a picture. He has been a good dog. I was not a dog person until he came into my life. He was part of a couple - if I wanted the man I had to take the dog. Both have brought me much joy and laughter - for 14 years now.

Thanks for thinking of me! I have seen those around- however, I am not a fan of the blow up decorations- they seem to be "high maintenance" You have turn the blow up thingy on and off!

Madd, I have a suggestion so you can get the biker.... plug the inflatable into a timer. Set the time you want him to come on and go off and viola, no longer "high maintneance". I have a bathroom heater I do this with so my bathroom is nice and toasty on cold mornings. Makes getting out of bed so early much easier

Thank you for asking me to post a picture. Most times folks just want to see "babies", baby humans, baby cats, baby dogs. I had registered with shutterfly for the fall sweepstakes and "won" (had to pay shipping) - 20 cards, a 11x14 poster, and an 8x8 book. I got the cards - uploaded pictures of my 2 kids and made thank you cards to use for the holidays, and the 11x14 poster - uploaded pictures and captioned "world's cutest grandchildren- to be used for my inlaws as part of their present for the holidays and they came in the mail today! Nice quality and will make great personalized items for the holidays. I am in the process of putting together the "free" book for my son with pictures of all he has accomplished this year - 1st sport (soccer), kindergarten, family vacations, etc. so hopefully that will be as nice quality and I will add that to his presents.
