FREAP CHAT ~ Everyone Welcome!

Wow, It' A Happy Day, please tell your DD that I think that's the best costume I have seen in a long, long, time...I would definitely think of copying it if I EVER get invited to a party..yeah, like that's ever going to happen..:rolleyes1 Great imagination, she looks so cute..

We did a zoo trick or treating last night..our zoo is more of an outdoor habitat, with walking trails..all the animals are native to Georgia..didn't know we had mountain lions here...how about that? anyway, the DSs got some candy, had a hay ride, got to look for fossils-found some sharks teeth..lots of walking and lots of fun..I love Halloween.

She looks sooo cute! You could have had her bend her knee up and stand on one leg! What a fantastic costume! It was cute on the hanger but even more adorable on her!

We actually did have her pose for a couple picks that way too but I liked how this shot looked onscreen so didn't put up the 1 legged pic. She was sooooo excited to get dressed up this morning! She also had a costume birthday party this afternoon & loved preening her feathers in front of all her friends  It will be fun to dress her up for her school party wed. & I have to say it is probably 1 of the most unique costumes I've seen so far this year!

We LOVE Halloween too - DH proposed to me Halloween night back in 98!

Thanks all for your compliments. HRH - another woman was gushing over DD at the zoo today and she was telling whomever she was with how she was going to "remake" the costume for her own child for next year. She would get the boa's, body suit, etc. Dissecting it piece by piece. DH really thought her costume would turn out to be a train wreck but he was ecstatic with the results & all the comments.

I just got done watching one of my favorite old movies, can anyone guess the name?

I love Sunday afternoons and old movies..

You're gonna be chasin' pink feathers around the house until Christmas!!

Not sure which one you watched but have you ever seen Arsenic & Old Lace? If you haven't then you need to add it to the list - hysterical movie in Black & White!

Today, DH picked up April Kramer, wife of Joey Kramer (28 years-I love reading about that kind of longevity in show biz..), drummer for Aerosmith...

He also saw and WAS recognized by name by Vanessa Redgrave today...

I can't believe I haven't seen that one. I love black and white movies..This was a kind of funny, poingent, old movie with on of the best actors ever..he is still around. (try it with a little music now..sing it...) Aaamen..Aaamen..Aamen.Amen.Amen.

Here's DD at the zoo today trick or treating!

And the prize goes to the lady from Montana!!

Sidney Poitier plays a drifter somewhere south...there is a town of Mexicans who don't speak English and comes across a small group of German nuns who are set on building a chapel in the middle of nowhere. The interactions between the very different cultures is amazing..I love Sidney Poitiier.

I DID see the Ghost and Mrs. Muir many years ago....Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison...Wasn't there a TV show, too?

OK, EVERYONE tell their favorite movie....ONLY one...of all times...

Mine is Breakfast at Tiffiany's --the "Wet Cat in the Alley" scene brings me to tears every single time...now I only live about 15 miles from Moon River...It's not wider than a mile.:rotfl:

Yes, you are correct! I am impressed!! :goodvibes

"The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" is my favorite movie and it is in black and white...which takes nothing from the movie at all! I have seen it on dvd at Borders, which is a surprise for an old black and white movie. And, yes, there was a tv show, too. Hmmm, I wonder if I can find that show in a 'series set'?

I have never seen "Breakfast at Tiffainy's"!

Confession....don't be impressed, I googled the cast because I couldn't remember who the ghost was...

I have noticed that there is a time difference between my actual time, here at home, and what the time shows on the boards. Does anyone else notice that?

On my last post, it says I posted at 6:21am but it was after 7:00am here. I have my time set to MST, which is my time zone, but the time does not match up with me. :confused3
