FREAP CHAT ~ Everyone Welcome!

Yes indeed there is a "Mall" although it isn't as big or have nearly 1/2 the good stores as any other mall around here. Actually I work part time in 1 of the stores there - my "other" job other than staying home with my kids. 6 more months and I can say si-o-nar-a to retail :woohoo: I only worked it because the hours are flexible to me working opposite DH's schedule.

I think we see that as we are heading to BIL 's house. He is right of the exit for sturbridge.
I worked retail for a few years. I hated it but We did the same thing as you. DH would come home and I would hand off Shaunna aka Shay to him and off I would go to work

We'd have to find free t-shirts...I have 3 I got in the last month 2 from citizen bank and one from the P&G 500...

HRH I found a little loser dude for you

Thank you, he will be in my siggie shortly!!

madd, I was thinkin' about you a little while ago while I was watching TV. I came across a station showing old TV shows, and was in front of me was a very :goodvibes yummy:goodvibes Mr. Johnny Depp--21 Jump Street. It said it was done in 1988, so how old does that make him in it. He looked like a baby, WOW what a baby..he was adorable even before he got some character in his face. (for men, they call it character, for women they call it WRINKLES:headache: ) Anyway, he was cute then, really cute!:lovestruc

I will be showing my age here but I used to have a pin up in my LOCKER in HIGH SCHOOL of JD when he was in 21 Jump Street. I thought he was soooo dreamy back then

He is 44 now.

I used to think he was cute- but never had a crush on him. I did used to watch 21 Jump Street all the time. Even now when I look back at some of those early pics- I think-- ewww- he looks like a baby and I do not see anything sexy about him. :confused3

I started REALLY liking him later on- Sleepy Hollow- and I made it a point to see all of his movies after that- just b/c he was in them and not only was he cute- but he could act- DH even watches his movies (he is not a big fan of Pirates though).

Chocolat, Blow! From Hell, even Finding Neverland- I would have never seen any of those movies if it were not for him.

Later on after we knew he was such a great actor- we decided to watch Fear and Loathing- and thought it was genious! DH is now a Hunter fan!

If anyone else is a Hunter S Thompson fan (Marna!) and liked Fear and Loathing- watch Where the Buffalo Roam with Bill Murray- he does a great portrayal of Hunter in that movie!

Over the past few years- it has become a full blown OBSESSION! I just look at him and can't breath!

I cannot ever remember being this obsessed over a star- I just can't explain it!:dance3:

I KNOW you must have "swooned" over him in Don Juan De Marco...

Johnny Depp and Chocolat....does it get any better than that???

GUESS WHAT!

I have only seen that movie maybe 2x and it has been YEARS!

I KNOW!:scared:

I keep saying I have got to see it again- but I keep forgetting!

NOW who is the LOSER!?:rotfl2:

I haven't seen "Where the Buffalo Roam" so I'll have to put that on my list too. Since your DH is a fan (and a biker) Madd, has he read Hell's Angels?

Actually he has it and is bringing it to Mexico to read the week we are there!

I have a copy and am fixing to start reading it. I got it while I was in Mexico at our resort. They had "Take a book, leave a book" type thing. I left a book I had been reading and took that one. Cant wait to read it!

Now THAT is a freaky coincidence! Mexico AND the same book! :hippie:

He really seems to have turned the corner these last couple of days. He is perky, eating, drinking, hopping up onto the couch and starring at the cat that is sleeping in *his* spot. We no longer have to give him sub q fluids, or anti nausea shots.

This will now be known as the $7,000 costco chicken incident...:scared:

Unfortunately this good news is tempered by the fact that Violet (the pug) had an oral mass removed last week and it turns out that it is an aggresive form of melanoma...But we do have some promising information on a xenogenetic vaccine that has been very successful with this kind of cancer.

The saga continues.

On a lighter note, I am practicing telling the kids "Well, mommy and daddy were going to send you to college, but then Flint ate this $4.99 chicken from costco and...":rotfl:

YOU get outta here! 7 grand!!!!:scared: Did you have pet insurance, I forget if we talked about that before!

But the good thing is- he will be OK- but now Violet!?

How is your DH feeling?- poor guy gets put on the back burner with all the "doggie drama"
