FREAP CHAT ~ Everyone Welcome!

That was the Judith Jack Jewelery freebie. I signed up a while ago. By the time I got it a few days ago, I had completely forgotten about it.

That must what mine is but it cannot be worn as a pendant or a pin. Was it supposed to be wearable?
I am going to use it to sit something small on . Don't know what yet but I bet I will find something.

Hey Guys,
I have not posted on this thread although I do recognize your names. Any way today I got a large silver heart nicely wrapped in a blue velvet bag. The heart is a mirror on one side and is inscribed with Judith Jack on the other.

Did I sign up for this on the freebie board and what in the world is it supposed to be used for?

I got that in the mail, too. I wondered the very same thing you did! Who the heck is Judith Jack? I have no idea what to do with it, it's too small for my big face..

HRH,

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new quote in your signature. :lmao:

I have to forward that one to my best friend. I too don't seem to be getting email notifications even thought I did go back into my cp user and update the setting...Very frustrating! But in the scheme of things...

Madd - You must really be looking forward to Mexico. Just the idea about being able to veg out sounds like heaven...I last time I was able to do that was 7 years ago in Hawaii. (Heavy Sigh...) I was great - just a friend a mine and me. (DH was home with the kids - DS was about 4 and DD was 1, I know, he is a Saint - althought there are days...:rotfl: )

I don't know about you guys but I am itching to plant things. I swear if the ground wasn't frozen I'd be putting in more bulbs.

I WANT TO SEE THINGS BLOOM!!! I've been running around the house taking clippings of all of the house plants to root them for the flower boxes this spring. So far, if all goes well, my friends and I will not have to by coleus for the next ten years:rotfl:

DH is off tomorrow, so I think we are going to take the kids to the RV show in Boston. We took our first RV trip back in August and got "bit" by the RV bug. We had so much fun (althought I know we looked like the Beverly Hill Billies).

Allright Freaps, sleep well

Rhonda

Thanks, take it..what's mine is yours..:lovestruc I had a moving slinky along with it, but it was too big with the picture of the misbehaving princesses!

I walked out into an area of my yard yesterday and saw my daffodils starting to come up. The are about 8 inches tall!! We had a really long warm spell for awhile, it must have started them a little early. I don't plant...If I do plant anything, it's never an annual, always something that keeps coming back-I'm too lazy to replant!!

Hope your puppy and hubby (not necessarily in that order)are doing well..

My DH and I have been blindsided by nasty sinus colds, it was so bad DH actually went to the DR:scared1: . Mine cleared up sooner than his, but boy it was nasty! hope all my Freapy friends have managed to stay away from that.

mtblujeans, WELCOME HOME!!! I bet it was a shock to come back from tropical weather to Montana chill. We need to see pics!!

madd, I'm so glad you get to escape the chill from NJ and head down to Mexico. Sounds like a great resort!

Sorry I have been neglectful in my freebie posting..I have been running crazy since Christmas, my littlest turned 8 on the 12th of January, so I had that little family party. Next Sunday I am preparing to entertain 20 or so kids for his "kids" party. I plan on having a treasure hunt (a PIRATE PARTY, madd!!) and pin the eye patch on JD..no kidding. I have a POTC poster and will have little eye patches to use ..we will see how THAT turns out!! So anyway, until after Sunday, I will be scarce. I have so much to do, I know it won't all get done. Next year, I am going to suggest we go to WDW for a weekend birthday party for DS8, me(Jan 4) and DS9(March 17)..so much easier and problably cheaper!

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, I will come back in a week, maybe a quickie sooner...;)

Oh yeah, I got my Photopass the other day..here is a pic from our trip....

In my defense, the dorky matching t shirts are for keeping track of everyone. Even DH, Mr. Too Cool, thinks it's a good idea..so we look like a bunch of Disney Dorks..but we stay together!!

I  Disney Dorks!

We will be matchy matchy too when we go in August. It IS easier to locate your family when you look just like them. :thumbsup2

You don't have to remember what they're wearing, even if they do wander off. You just look down at your own shirt, and yell, "HEY!! ANYBODY SEE A LITTLE REDHEADED KID WEARING A SHIRT LIKE THIS?!!":rotfl:

I know, between photobucket, the Dis, and my incompetence, this was the only size I could come up with. I really DID TRY to make it smaller...

I stole the "cute guy shuffling his foot" smiley from your siggie...hope you don't mind, love him!!

Ok, I am going to post this photo of our driveway in a shameless search for sympathy!

We had been having the warmest January I can remember until we got back from Mexico last week and now all heck seems to have broken loose! :rotfl: We had a storm Saturday night and the wind blew all the snow up the hill to our place....and now the temps are going to be below 0 all this week. DH and DS spend all afternoon, yesterday, clearing the path on the driveway that you see before you. Oh, they were thrilled beyond explanation. ;)

I enjoy your siggy! We have been having fun out this way rooting for the Patriots! What a thrill for that team....woot woot! :thumbsup2

What a ride it's been! DH claims the "big" tv for 16 weeks in the fall/winter - read "football season" I have always been a Pats fan but not necessarily watch every game type person. My DS6 is now an avid fan as well, quoting names, stats, and the such. We have had to redo his room with a Patriots theme, he wears something Patriots nearly every day, and have started a memorabilia collection for him - so far he has Brushi and Brady's autographs and various room decor items. Can't wait till Feb 3rd! :cheer2:

Oooohhhh! Autographs!! That's impressive!! :thumbsup2 But, what will you do to fill that void!? ;)

I have tried the matching t-shirts in the past. My immediate family (DH + 2 teen boys) strongly objected to the idea....until we got there. Then, everyone pulled on their shirts and waited at the hotel room door for me to finish drying my hair! :rotfl: Something comes over the guys when they actually get down to WDW! On the other hand, last year I took DD (28), her boyfriend, and my DGS to WDW and they not only refused to wear the shirts, they disappeared the day I wanted to have the Visa pictures taken. :confused3 We figure it was their loss.

I always enjoy seeing the really great matching shirts people come up with at WDW!! I am determined to make the tie-dye matching shirts for the next time we go....which we don't plan on going any time soon so I don't have to hurry. :headache:

Wow, how beautiful...(I know cold too...) Being Canadian (born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario - the 2nd coldest capital in the world after Moscow) I miss the snow. I know it may be hard to believe, but you do miss it. Whenever it snows or get "cold" here - I always tell me neighbours "Oh, you don't know what cold is...:rotfl: "

Every time it snows - I'm the first one out there shoveling, pushing cars, singing "Oh the weather outside is frightful, inside is so delightful..." (Which is about the time I get beaned in the head with a snowball:rolleyes: )

I am oh-so-jealous! I love snow! We do have about 2 inches on the ground this morning but it is getting in the mid-30's today so will be muddy goo by this evening.:sad2: As for driveway sympathy you'll get none from me. I have not been able to get my car up our driveway in over a year!:scared1: Right now it is 4 wheel drive only and if we have any snow or it isn't pretty dry we can't even get up in low 4WD. And that isn't an exaggeration I'm afraid. With the snow we have now, I fully anticipate having to walk up the hill tonight when I get home from work at 4:00 am.:headache: It's pretty much straight up about 1/4 mile from the main road. I am sooo not looking forward to it-almost enough to call in sick to work. I always assume I'm going to surprise some critter peacefully sleeping in the tall grass(because I walk through the field, not on the drive) and it'll scare me into having a heart-attack. Or, if it's a deer I'll be stampeded.:rotfl2:

:sad2: You know my feelings on this subject.

Ok, now I feel bad for you!!

See that 'indentation' on the left? That is where we left the car the other night during the storm and walked across the field to get up to the house! We did something stupid that we have never done before....we went out during the storm Saturday night. DS wanted to go to a school dance with his friends so we took him, dropped him off, went to a movie, picked him up and came home. We thought we would get home in plenty of time....before things drifted too bad. Nope. AND, I had an asthma attack by the time I made it to the house and had to pull out the meds! By Sunday morning, the snow was up to the window of the Envoy. It was an interesting weekend. :rotfl: But, we are getting old and there is not that much to do around here in the winter....that was our idea of thrilling! :rotfl2:
