Freaking out...45 days and need to make change...HELP!!

Okay....Today is my 45 day mark and I just realized it!! I called Disney and they are closed. I know I can make my payment on line but I wanted to add the DDP to my reservation. It says they'll charge $50 more to make any changes to my reservations after today. Should I just make the payment and call tomorrow to add the plan? Will they really charge $50 more when I'm giving them several hundred $ more? Or should I just wait until tomorrow an hope they don't cancel my reservation. HELP!!

If you can make your payment today, then I probably would.

I actually thought that you could add things (such as Park Hoppers and the dining plan) anytime. To me, changes would be things like switching dates, switching hotels, etc.

I thought so too, but I don't see where I can make the change online. Thanks

I called WDW yesterday because I thought my final payment was due. The CM told me it isn't due until 7/29. I was going to hold off paying till then, and asked him what happens if they don't receive my payment (in case I forget). He said they will send a few reminders before they cancel. Then I asked him about adding someone else to my reservation after the 45 day mark. He said they don't charge a change fee when you add something. I paid my balance because I don't trust myself to remember next week.

Thanks for the response...I feel a little better. Of course, about 25 minutes ago I figured I better go pay it, and it hung up for the longest time and said not to hit refresh or browser back so I didn't. Then it gave a system error and now I can't get in at all!! Ugh...I hope their new system they're implementing is a lot more user friendly.
