FP+ Selection at HS

Hi Everyone! This is our first time using the FP + system and we are trying to make our selections today. My question is in everyone's opinion which is a better use of FP+ at HS, Toy story mania or Fantasmic? We would definitely like to do both as we have never done either one. What do you feel is the better one to use with the FP+? Last year when we went to HS they were out of fast passes for toy story and the line was ridiculous so we skipped it.

then just get in line early for Fantasmic...

I thought Toy Story was fun. Fantasmic, not so good. It was cold during Fantasmic last we were there and I didn't think it was worth the suffering.

I use my FP for Toy Story. Than I book a Fantasmic dining package at Mama Melrose and get priority seating for the show. It's the best section in the house. I think its the same as the FP+ section.

If I didn't have a dining plan, or didn't want to spend the money for the dining package, I would still choose TSM, because the standby wait for F! won't be 100+ minutes, like TSM usually is.

Whatever you do...DO NOT use the FP for Fantasmic. It is a waste of a FP. We used one there and did not get there really early because we figured "we have a FP" and don't need to be there an hour early. Wrong. They had a FP line and a regular line...we walked through at the same time in the same place. There is no special seating at all for it. We ended up sitting on the very end. The only thing that the FP does is guarantee that you get in and that is all. It was extremely disappointing.

There is a Fp section for Fantasmic. All of the seating sections to the left of the Dining Package area are reserved for Fp holders. With 5 minutes to go before showtime, all Standby guests who could not fit in the Standby area - all seating sections to the right of Dining - are allowed to fill-in the Fp+ area.

***This seating arrangement for Dining, Fp, and Standby began in mid-February.***

Plan on 60 minutes before showtime. When the Standby area is filled, all waiting standby guests are held in the entrance pathway until they are allowed to enter to fill in the Fp area.

Glad to hear they fixed this problem. They are headed in the right direction fixing the glitches in FP+!
