FP plus exec gone, how many more will follow?

Yeah, I HAD no idea how many DISboard folk were so in the know about the inner workings of Disney's business side. :p
 
I have not read that anywhere - or anything close.

There are some poeple who simply cannot stomach this kind of thread - where people who know nothing about the person or his reasons for leaving decide to paint him with a negative brush and make every type of negative assumption possible about his reasons for leaving simply because they did not approve of one of his projects.

It is evil behavior.

Evil? This is a public figure who was in charge of a huge project that effected all of these people's Disney trips. FP+ effected my October trip very negatively, and I worked hard to save the money for that trip and to take my son to Disney.

It's an awful system. He should be fired. If Disney fired it him, it was the right call.

Legitimate discussions are not "evil." They are the cornerstone of a democratic society. Evil is stifling such discussions.

People on all sides of the debates.

Someone always conveniently pops up with their insider knowledge or credentials to prove everyone else wrong. Just saying.
 

Judging from the responses on the boards and word of mouth I have received, the system is much preferable to the old system for many guests. The super-users find it limiting, but the folks I have talked to have been very happy with the product.

I wrote a letter after our very disappointing March trip and was called several times by a lovely woman who told me that she was now dealing full time with complaints about Fast Pass +.

Well.... you might be right. But I do think that with the surveys they are sending out they are getting more positive responses than negative.

b. I like Fast Pass + a whole lot.
c. Fast Pass + is better than sliced bread.
d. Fast Pass + is the best thing that ever happened to WDW and has completely changed my life!

That's how they handle other surveys too! I was roped into one while at Epcot, and if you gave any iota of a neutral or negative response- the survey got longer and cornered you with questions wanting to know why is wasn't the best experience ever. I just feel neutral about some things, and Disney couldn't leave it at that! I couldn't wait for the survey to be OVER! LOL

Oh, yeah. I forgot about that survey. It was very lopsided and not at all scientific.
 
What makes me laugh about this all is the denial that goes on here on disboards. Lets face it, it is out there that the mm plus is way way over budget, we know the system is still very glitchy. The rollout wasn't the smoothest, so much so that they took negative feedback off of facebook. Now a higher up exec leaves associated with the project. I don't think we need to call Sherlock Holmes in on this one. When others go I guess they will be moving to better jobs too!:rotfl2:
 
Not sure why he left, but it looks like cause and effect....Based on our
experience the system was implemented before it was ready. And, based
on discussions with long time CM's in mid level positions, they were given
little or no training on the system and were specifically told training was
not necessary.....which put them in a bad position when it was less than
successful....Personally, based on 100+ trips to WDW, we did not see it as
am improvement....altho it had the potential. At this point I see it as about 50/50 as far as being a success, with newbies haveing more positive attitudes.
