FP+ on magic bands not used for park entry?

We are traveling to WDW in April. There are 4 of us we are staying onsite and also have annual passes. My parents who are also annual passholders may join us. If they do not enter a park on a given day and we have made fastpasses on MDE for them would one of the 4 of us be able to use their fast pass if we had their magic band?

I am pretty sure I've done this with my DS's band. He didn't want to go with us one day so I took his band anyway so his brother could go on a ride twice.
