FP+ Magic Band Ticket Question!

We will be staying on property for our trip in March.
I will be waiting to buy our park tickets until January when Disney usually has a special ticket for Florida residents.

I'd like to take advantage of being able to book FP+ with Magic Bands 60 days prior to our trip. Will I be able to do this?
Will Disney issue us Magic Bands?

I was thinking, if I buy our tickets in early January I could get them registered more than 60 days before our trip.

We've been to Disney lots of times but not since FP+.
Thank you for the help! :)

Since you are on property you are eligible for booking FP+ starting 60 days from your first day, assuming you have tickets at that point.

Hypothetically, if you don't have tickets until the day before, you cannot book FP+ until then (even though you are staying on property and are eligible to do so).

You should be issued MB (which is entirely separate from FP+ booking) since they act as a room key, etc.

Correct if you are booking Room only and you do not have admission associated with your MDE account, then you can't book FP+.

the Requirement for Fastpass+ at 60days out is on-site guest AND park admission both in the same MDE account.

The one way you can get around this is by a few days of park admission now from like UT, then when it comes time to go, you upgrade to the FL Resident pass (just like an AP.)

Ok, thank you. :)

If I have our tickets purchased before our 60 window, can I link them to our resort info and book our FPs 60 days out?

Yes. You will be able to book FP+ for the number of days on your ticket (5-day park ticket = 5 days of FP+). If you have an AP, you will be able to book for each day of your stay.
