I'm not inclined to defend myself. Rather I am inclined to share the stategy so others can use it, rather than find FP+ is useless to them at 30 days out.

My only regret is all the offsiters who I have not been able to reach, and I have let down!

Disney probably doesn't see this as a problem since it makes their occupancy #s look better. Hey rooms are booked they get money for it and the #s look good to the investors. Win for Disney

Can we all understand that fast pass is evolving and will continue to do so? Will on site people have extra bennies? Yes. They always will. Do those break your park experience? No.

Bc here's the thing. Fast passes are a zero sum game and always have been. They give you a short wait on one attraction, but by doing so you get a longer wait on others (as fast pass people cut ahead of you). This will always be the case. The only people severely losing out are those FP- savants out there that used to use 10 in a day. Most guests used 0-3, so for most people FP+ is an "improvement", while still keeping things a zero sum game.

People get/buy/hoard multiple MB and put FPs on ALL of them.
Some people book "throw away" ressies just for the MB and then cancel the ressie.

But aren't these people paying for extra rooms and extra tickets? So that just has to make the men behind the mouse happy I'd think.

There are lots of popular rides that are easily available within 30 days. For example: I'm looking at 15 days from today, just to hit the middle of the month- these rides are available for at least 3 people:

Having multiple MBs doesn't get you more than 3 FPs per day. You get new MBs every time you make a reservation, so if it worked that way, anyone who's gone more than once since MBs were introduced would be able to get more than 3 per day. MBs are just a way to access the information on your MDE account; there's nothing "on" them.

Search the boards. Apparently this is EXACTLY what you are able to do with them.

No, that's the point. They are making a ressie, getting a MB, putting FPs on the band, then canceling the ressie without penalty and KEEPING THE BAND with the FPs. The band does not get cancelled. And they see nothing wrong with this.

But unless all you care about riding is 7dmt and meeting Anna&Elsa, then you have all of the remaining rides to choose from. Even at 60 days an awful lot of people aren't getting those. I don't agree at all that every ride at WDW with the exception of 1 and a m&g are crap or worthless.

Bottom line is, it's anyone's option to stay on site or off. On site guests are given a perk to book earlier and I think it's fair. You don't. We disagree. You get a cheap resort, I get 30 days head start to book.

Personally, I dont think it's fair that Comcast gives HBO to people that pay more. I mean, TV should be equal for everyone, that's how life works.

But those aren't wdw are they? They don't have the same park, or attractions advertised at wdw. People who don't get that families want to do things because of the advertising done by disney are missing the big picture. Intentionally or not. The FP+ available listed is stuff never needed with a FP before so from a FP+ POV = CRAPPOLA IMHO of course
