FP+ for room only, then split staying - help please!

We arrive late evening 11/2 one night room only, first package starts 11/3 for 3 nights at BWI, then 2nd package starts 11/6 for 5 nights at Poly. When can I make my FP+? DSS said 9/4 for 1st package, then i have to wait til 9/7 for 2nd package to start. I think its actually 9/3 when we arrive for our room only on 11/2 and for the entire length of stay through 11/11.

Can anyone please confirm?

Park tickets start on 11/3 and are 8 day park hoppers, dining supposedly couldn't all be loaded onto one reservation, and had to follow the split we were doing -- 11/2 is room only

That's correct about dining. So to make sure it's clear, you have this?

11/2 - Room Only - no tickets
11/3 - 11/6 - Room + dining + 8-day tickets
11/6 - 11/11 - Room + dining

If that is correct, you can book FP on 9/3, which is 60 days before 11/2. But you will not be able to book FP for the day of 11/2, because the system will not recognize that you have tickets until the start of the package stay that has the tickets linked. Once you are there, you can activate the tickets early, on 11/2, if you want, but you will not be able to book FP for that day until you activate the tickets.

Thank you - I recall last year when we stayed on a room only for one night prior to our package, pur FP+ window opened 60 days from that date which is why I'm so confused.

Sorry I misread your post, thought you were saying I can book from 11/3 not 11/2.
