FP+ for Meeting Repunzel -- What's Your Experience?

Hello, all.

We're about 15 days away from picking our fast passes and we're still not sure what we're going to do... My daughter wants to meet Repunzel and I know you can do that in Fairytale Hall. However, my sister-in-law had a bad experience with getting a fast pass for Fairytale Hall about five years ago. They got the fast pass, then still had to wait about an hour to meet Cinderella. She said they would let two stand-by families in, then one fast pass family. With how our plans are shaping up, I don't think we're really going to have time to wait an hour to meet a princess.

Can anyone tell me their more recent experience with using a fast pass to meet a princess at Fairytale Hall? Has it improved at all since FP+ came into play?

Thank you for your help!

Are you sure you are talking about an issue at WDW? Princess Fairytale Hall at WDW wasn't in existence 5 years ago.
5 years ago it just paper FP. Who knows how it was done then compared to now but it's not like your SIL experienced.
I've never experience them taking 2 stand by guests for each FP+ guest, it's more like 5 FP+ guests, 1 stand by (just my WAG, no specific data to back that up)

When we went in 2016 and were on the A&E FP line, we were in and out pretty quickly. I couldn't see the SB line though so can't comment on how long that line was. I imagine if that's how well the A&E lines were, the Rapunzel/Cinderella line I would think would run the same.

We did FP+ for Rapunzel back in June. No problems. I think we waited 10 minutes, give or take.

We have met Rapunzel with fastpasses multiple times in the last few years (and during busing holiday weeks to boot) and never waited more than a 5-10 minutes.

had a FP for Aurora/Cinderella this past Thursday at Fairytale Hall. We were in and out, maybe 5/10 min in line. It was earlyish morning ~10am

I meet Rapunzel with a FP at least once a week

The wait has never been more than a few minutes

And a plus is that this FP is one that availability is always in flux for. I never have a problem changing times if I want to bump it earlier or later - sometimes it just takes a few refreshes for the wanted time to appear

Worth noting, as of today you can't book FP for either Princess pair starting sometime in November. They have it disabled right now. Getting ready for a change maybe?

From the threads I read it was late November. We're going to MK on November 13. Hopefully it'll still be available then.

I know that I have both sides of the hall booked for nov 5th

I wonder if they are going to do some shuffling to add Moana or Elena in

Ooh... I wonder what kind of changes are in the works? Can't wait.

OP We used fp for rapunzel and cinderella in April and only waited a few minutes.

Desperate for my girls to meet Rapunzel end of November when we go. I hope they let me book FP soon for it!

We just got back and had a Rapunzel FP. We waited less than five minutes and our FP time was around 12:30. Just as a side note we also saw Rapunzel in EPCOT back by the World Traveler. Our friends daughter had just been to BBB and was in her Rapunzel outfit and was first to spot her! Worked out perfectly!

Even without FP, the line isn't generally very long. Mid-day Saturdays I generally wait 20ish minutes standby. Many times when I go in the evening, I will be the only one in line.

PFH is pretty calm as far as wait times go, especially when you consider you are meeting two princesses for one line

To those that are unaware, that's a training location and not something that is possible to replicate. Totally random who you find in those training locations, if anyone.

You have made me feel so much better thank you so much. My eldest who is nearly 4, has talked so much about Rapunzel since she 1st saw Tangled & she has so many questions to ask her. She doesn't even know we are going to Disney world yet!! She wants to ask her questions like how does she wash her hair, and how long does it take to brush it. She is obsessed by Rapunzel, so the thought that we wouldn't be able to meet her was upsetting me.

Rapunzel is always a joy to meet, and it sounds like your daughter will have a blast with her :)
