I am a creature of habit and the FP+ is making me overthink my planning. Thank you for your help!!

Last night I started working on our park plans. It is just myself and hubby going our first park day will be Sat Aug 27th. We have a 8:05 am res for BOG staying till around 2pm and are wanting to spend the evening at AK to do the Evening Safari, Everest and possibly watch the Jungle Book Show.

So my question is should we book the FP+ for AK and ride 7DMT, Peter pan etc asap.

BOG 8:05 am
7DMT Maybe ride twice if possible
Peter Pan
Space Mountain
Pirates
Jungle Cruise
Splash
Haunted Mansion

3:00pm late Lunch at Sanna

Animal Kingdom 6:00pm or earlier depending on lunch.
Everest
Kali
Night Safari
Jungle Book Show

I really think you could work it either way, depending on what your priority is between the two parks. The rides you list for MK are definitely do-able during the time frame you mention without FPP - I'd do them in the order you have except move Splash up to right after Space and then probably JC before Pirates. This assumes you're willing to cross the entire park after doing Space but would be the best order in terms of avoiding lines.

Do you already have the ADR? I know they only serve lunch at Sanaa until 3 but wasn't sure if they actually have ADR's that late. Either way, even if it's 2:45 or similar you should be fine on timing (I'd actually think you could get a lot more done than you have listed, even without FPP). This would leave the evening to use the FPP's for and guarantee you'd have much better seating for the JB show. I'd book Everest as late as possible to work around the show and still ride it at night and probably book KS after the show (assuming you did the early show).

However, the drawback to this is losing the possibility of getting 4th & more FPP's at MK when you're there all morning. Alternatively, I'd book some FPP's for 9-10, 10-11 & 11-12 at MK and use them at like 9:55, 10-11ish, and 11:00 and immediately book a 4th from your phone and do the same with each subsequent ride, and finally get one for AK before you leave for lunch. Unfortunately, we don't really know at this point if JB FPP's will be readily available late in the day as the excitement wears down, and KS is usually a hard one to get even day of. The advantage to this strategy though is that you get more FPP's and do your waiting in lines after dark when it's cooler. If you choose this option and wait for JB (even getting in line at 7:15 or so) for the early show, you should be able to ride Kali & EE easily after this with little to no wait during the second show. Only issue will be KS so in this case (assuming your strategy is to do them after dark) I'd do that one last (assuming you're okay riding wet after Kali).

In any case, what you list should be doable in either park at those times without FPP's so they'll just allow you to do more rides and spend less time standing. If you really will be devastated if you miss anything in particular (whether the night safari or 7D or whatever), I'd do the FPP's in that park just to be sure you have that one covered.

Thank you so much Marciemi, I appreciate your time and help with this. I am used to Disneyland where I can easily park hop and jump from ride to ride with fast passes, I need to stop stressing out about the new fp+ hahaha..

I never thought to look at the times for Lunch vrs Dinner Our ADR is at 2:55pm, I will go check if there is any difference between menus. :)

off to plan a few more days.

I wouldn't worry about Sanaa then - it will definitely be the lunch menu but I really don't think there's much if any difference between lunch and dinner there (unlike many Disney restaurants) - I've been many times during both and know I always get the same thing and pay about the same price. I was more just confirming you have the ADR and don't just plan to show up at 3 since I'm pretty sure they close from 3-5 before opening for dinner - as long as you have the ADR before then (just be sure to show up on time then since they probably wouldn't seat you after 3 when they're technically "closed"), you can eat at your leisure.

I was just curious so I threw what you had in there into Touring Plans for MK for that day. My assumption on BOG is that you'll be out to ride 7D before official opening and that you'll ride it once or twice based on the how the opening works that morning. Sometimes I've gotten 1 ride doing this - sometimes 4. But if you ride once and come out and the queue has opened to RD folks and has people swarming in, I'd just move on to the next step at that point. TP assumes you're coming from the entrance of the park and won't get to PP until 9:11 and I really think you'll be well ahead of that (I usually ride 7D until actual RD then am on PP before 9) so you'll actually be ahead of this for most of it. I used average walking speed - and it still has you done with the rest of the attractions before noon.
