I am considering getting tickets for MNSSHP on our 1/2 day arrival day. The main reason would be to ride Dwarf Mine Train and maybe meet Anna and Elsa. Can FP+ reservations be made for during party?

You can enter MK at 3:45/4:00 with your MNSSHP ticket. If you have this, or any ticket, linked to MDE, you can schedule Fp+ between 4:00 - 7:00 that day.

The FP system has never been in use during the actual party in the past, and the FP+ system wasn't used last year, so there's no reason to think that FP+ would be in use this year, either. Crowds are low enough that there is typically no use for the FP system...most rides are walk-ons or have short waits.

It is possible to enter the MK at 4:00 on party days with just a party ticket even though the party doesn't start until 7:00, and last year people were able to make FP+ reservations with their party tickets for that 3 hour window. But once the party starts, the FP+ system will likely be shut down.

You can enter the park at 4PM and make same day FP+ for 4-7PM at the kiosks even if you don't have MDE.

So I'd need to wait until I have my MNSSHP ticket purchased in order to make FP+ reservations for my party day? Or can I make FP+ res on 6 different days, even if I only have 5-day park tickets?

I was going to try for FP+ to meet Anna & Elsa on the day we're going to the party, on the last day of our trip, but I won't have a regular park ticket for that day.

You will be able to schedule Fp+ for 5 days. If you link your party ticket, then you can schedule for the 6th day which is your party day.

Thank you for the info!

When do the party tickets typically go on sale? I've never been able to go to one before so never paid attention. Hoping it's more than 60 days out so I can have the ticket bought before my FP+ window opens!

They should be available the first week in May. You'll have time to have them mailed to you or you can choose "Will Call" and link the Confirmation Number to your MDE account.

Yay, thank you again!!

Great info! I'd love to be able to get a couple of FP+ for the afternoon of the party. If I link my party tickets to MDE, do we enter the park after 4 p.m. with our bands or do we need paper tix? I.e., will the system know to use the party ticket and not deduct a park day? (we're doing the party on our first full day so we won't use the first our our 2 regular park day tickets until the day after the party)

It would probably be safest to use your plastic or paper party ticket to enter. You can use your MsgicBand at the Fp+ tapstile as it provides the link to your pre-selected Fp+.

This is "currently" possible but in talking with some Park Support CM's last week, this option will likely be disabled for the parties this year.

It is one of the "unintended consequences" of the system at this time that has yet to be fixed. They are aware of it but since the parties are still some months out, so it is not a high priority to repair right now.

Thanks, 11290. If regular tickets are linked, but not used on that day, will the MagicBands still provide the link at the Fp+ tapstile?

Not sure I totally understand the question but here goes.

Technically, if the FP's are linked to a MB (and ticket) and if that ticketing media was not validated for that day at the touch-point entry, those FP's should not be active. I know some will say they are and I don't doubt them BUT, a FP that is linked to a specific ticket, should not be valid if that ticket is not used for entry. Right now with all the glitches (anamolies) in the system, who knows.

Didn't work a single shift that had FP this last trip down so not sure about how it is going now. Did get to see the new day parade 34 times though. It is growing on me but still not my total favorite, parts of it are great, but not the total (In My Opinion).
