What happens if I have a FP+ and the ride gets shut down due to weather?

In most cases, you can return to that attraction at any time later that day or other attractions (identified in an e-mail to the address associated with your MDX account) later in the day.

From past experiences where the ride has closed due to weather during the FP+ time, they'll issue a new FP+ to you for that ride to use once it opens back up (it usually spans from when your FP+ originally was to the closing time of the park).

We were there for easter break and when we went to use our FP for pooh it was closed due to a honey spill

We received an email the following day telling us that the previous day we could use our FP on select rides. Not sure what the point was since it was 24hrs too late

You'll get a replacement FP good for that ride or a list of others that's good until the end of the day. We had this happen twice on our trip last week (though not due to weather.) Our FP for Winnie the Pooh was good for Mickey's PhilharMagic, Mad Tea Party, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Under the Sea, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Barnstormer, or Peter Pan's Flight. Our Spaceship Earth FP was good for: The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Mission: SPACE, Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, or Journey Into Imagination With Figment. You'll get an email and also be able to see it in the MDE app.

Test track went down for us due to weather. New FP allows some alternate attractions (except Soarin') or the same attraction if it came back up.

We were at AK today when it started to rain really hard. My girls (teens) wanted to see what the line was like in EE, and we were surprised it was still running. They'd just gotten in line when BOOM! lightning hit at or near the mountain. The surge caused the cars to stop for quite some time. Felt sorry for those that were stuck and the parents waiting for their kids who were stuck.

Our last FP was for Kali. We didn't need it because it felt as if we'd already been on it. Ha ha (but it was canceled). Since we left the park, we're out a FP.

Test Track was closed for rain during our FP last year. I went to a CM to ask what we should do as I didn't receive any email or anything about it being closed or options to choose another FP. He said I could use it anytime the rest of the day once the ride was back up and we were able to do just that.

You can ride it anytime the rest of that day if it goes down for any reason or you'll be issued an email containing a list of rides you can pick from to use your fast pass on.

If you don't get an email quickly, then ask a CM at the ride that's down and they'll tell you the list you can choose from.
