FP+ and Park Hopping

We are planning a long weekend at WDW in September and were able to secure a reservation at PO-R with the Free Dining package. We are saying 4 nights and had only planned on going to the MK all day + MNSSHP on one day and Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival on another day. However, in order to get the package we had to purchase park hopper tickets. We are big Star Wars and my wife thought that we may want to go to see the Star Wars fireworks with our Park Hopper tickets on our Epcot day as Epcot is open late for Extra Magic Hours. We had planned on doing Soarin' at rope drop, Test Track with a single rider line (or later during EMH), and FastPass the new Anna and Elsa ride. We also thought about FP for Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, and/or Turtle Talk for the morning before heading to World Showcase. The plan was then on leaving WS out of the International Gateway and park hopping to DHS.

I have a couple of questions that I would like to ask:

1. How does park hopping work with FastPass Plus? If we use up our FP at Epcot will we be able schedule one at DHS?

2. Do we have to use 3 at Epcot or can we schedule 2 at Epcot and one at DHS?

3. Can we schedule 2 at Epcot and then schedule one at DHS after our Epcot FP have been used? Can we do this through MDE or do we have to use the in park kiosks?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You can schedule 1, 2 or 3 at Epcot and after those have been used, schedule more to HS. So let's say you schedule 2 for Epcot, after you have swiped your MB for the 2nd one you can get on your phone and schedule a third for HS. After you use the one at HS you can schedule another one anywhere you like.
