Going May 26-June 1 and unable to make FP+ until March 26th. Is 60 days out the requirement for FP+ reservations?

For onsite guests, yes.
I am assuming this includes the Frozen cast? If we go and do not see them the 7 hour drive home will be miserable. Will FP+ work for Star Wars weekend events?

It applies for all FP+ attractions. Some Star Wars weekend attractions will have FP+, some won't.

When will the fp for star wars attractions open up?

Counting down to 14th May!

Completely unknown. FP has never been available for any SWW events so it is possible that some of the shows might offer FP so just check closer to May.

March has 31 days, so your 60 days will be March 27.

I did May 18 yesterday. It has gotten easier than when I did it for last November. I picked the option that was closest to what I wanted and then it was easy to change the individual times to what I wanted (later).

No mine train for MK.

^^THIS^^

I did May 18 to 26 yesterday and it was super easy, I got everything I wanted and even changed to "better" times from the recommended times with ease. The entire process too me less than 20 minutes for all days (I did have a plan of roughly what times I wanted, etc). DD is thrilled we got A&E on our first day and our last day - again very easily. I was worried, but there were a lot of available time slots for the girls.

TSMM was another one I was worried about - not a problem. We are headed to DHS on a Saturday of SWW and got TSMM at my "wanted" time.

Note - I started at 10pm the night before (as that was midnight in Orlando) so that may have helped. I am not saying stay up late, but if the time zone works in your favor, take advantage of it.

Deb, is it true the first day of availability the parades and shows may or will not be there to pick? That they start becoming available closer to your arrival date? Do you know, I thought I read that here before?

sorry to slightly hijack the thread, but I read this as I was looking for information on when Fantasmic FP+ is bookable. I am within my 60 day window and have been able to make reservations for everything I want (including Anna and Elsa - obviously not 7DMT or FOF yet), apart from Fantasmic. It shows up as a selection, but when I try to book it for any day of my stay, even for just one person, it will not let me and 'switches' it for another tier 1 attraction. Any insights on whether this is because it doesn't open for booking yet or another problem? I have checked the schedule and it is definitely on the nights I am trying to book! Surely it can't be full already?! thanks

FP+ is per person I am assuming. SOOOOOOOOOOOO......if my 4yr old books a fast pass+ for big thunder railroad can I stand in line with him or do we each need one?

Your four year old cannot ride without you, and yes both parties need one to enter the FP line.

Every body over 2 needs a FP to be in a FP line. And your 4yr old is not allowed to ride any ride alone so where he goes, you go.

Understood so when I book a FP+ for a ride I need to book one for each party member planning on riding.

Parades were not there. We wanted the MK afternoon parade. We're watching for that and the mine train.

Dang it, I was able to book my FP for end of April for Epcot, but now MyDisneyExperience is only showing FP bookable through the 2nd week of April! I need end of May for MK- wonder why some of ya'll were able to book them already?

Do you think it's a system glitch on my end and I should call next week when it's actually 60 days out for me or is the system not gonna let me do any FP for MK since I have Epcot booked in April?

I would try again once you hit your 60 day mark. If it's not working, I would call.

They changed it a couple of weeks ago. If you have a resort reservation, you can make FP+ at 60 days (count the days, not 2 months). If you have an AP with no resort reservation within 60 days, your window is now 30 days.
