I have been looking on the computer and they have a few of them on the website Foxwoods.com. has anyone stayed at any of them and if you have feedback I would appreciate it. I am taking my son when he turns 21 next Wednesday. I am trying to make this a birthday he won't ever forget. If I can get the time off and he gets it off I will surprise him by taking him to NY city. Ok so it isn't Disney but he has never been there and was just at Disney in June. :D

As you saw, there are three hotels right at the casino. Great Cedar and Grand Pequot are both connected directly to the casinos. You just take the elevator down and you are there. Two Trees Inn is located across the parking lot but there is a shuttle bus running constantly between the hotel and the casino. Any of the three is a good choice (if you can get a reservation). Grand Pequot is the most deluxe. Very large rooms with beautiful furnishings. Even the hallways are beautiful with sitting areas etc. There is a spa and indoor pool.

I haven't stayed at Great Cedar but it also looks very nice....a bit older and thus a notch below Grand Pequot but still nice. It also has an indoor pool as does Two Trees.

Two Trees is very nice but is back towards reality. It is more like a "normal" hotel. It is only 2-3 stories high and doesn't have the sweeping views of the countryside that you get in the two tower hotels.

There are also other hotels/motels in the surrounding area. Mystic is not far from Foxwoods. In fact, the Mashantucket Pequots own the Hilton in Mystic (as well as some other area hotels and restaurants).

I have been there several times for business related functions and love the place. Can't speak to pricing since it was company paid but everything is brand new and it is a huge complex. It is like a shopping mall and even has a movie theater. There is something for everyone.

And the casinos are great too, er so I've heard!?!

I have stay outside of foxwoods. The foxwoods hotels are very nice. I would have love to stay there, but they were all booked up. Plan while in advance. OO also you have to eat in the italian restaurant I cant remember the name but it was the best food. And you need reservetion.

Weve stayed at Two Trees. Like Pam said, its more of a normal hotel, but for the price and convenience we found it to be great. The walk to the casino is probably about 5 minutes, maybe 10 at a slow pace, and they have shuttle busses running too. It was clean and the room was a good size. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was nice too. We were hoping to get back to Foxwoods again this summer. We never did, but if we had, we would have stayed at Two Trees again.

I just saw jscharfs comment...yes, the Italian restaurant was wonderful!

We have stayed at the Grand Pequot and the Two Trees. Even though the Grand Pequot is nicer, it's extremely expensive, especially considering the fact that you are there basically losing money:p I thought the Two Trees was really quaint and quite nice and a lot less expensive. Yes, you have to walk or take a quick shuttle bus or even drive yourself, but it's a small price to pay. Like jscharf said, you have to plan well in advance. The hotels at the casino book up really fast.

I have stayed in Both Grand Pequot and Great Cedar. Both are great places to say, however, Grand Pequot is more expensive. They both have nice pools. Given a choice, I would choos Great Cedar because it is in a more cental location in the Casino and it is easier to get to everything from its location. What ever you do go and have a great time!!!!

We have stayed at the Grand Pequot twice for banquets with dh's work. The rooms are gorgeous. The first time we had a little standing room balcony that looks out -- very nice. The second time we didn't have the balcony but the room was still great. They have THE BEST tubs there. We were lucky enough to get a discount through the company (we paid $159.00 for a Saturday night) so I have no idea how much the rooms would be otherwise.

FWIW, I enjoyed Foxwoods a lot more than Mohegan Sun. They had the banquet at Mohegan Sun this year and I was disappointed with their hotel. I hope they go back to Foxwoods this year. Please wish your son a Happy Birthday for me :D
