It's times like this that I am sooo glad I'm not a mommy. I teased my friend when I first babysitted for her baby that she had better hurry home because I don't do poop---but of course I had to. Thankfully not nearly that bad. I hope DS will still play with BL!

And thanks for sticking up for JR. I agree that he is honest in his mistakes. Going that fast, if Vickers slowed up just a bit, JR could have bumped him too. I know Racetrack will add her 2 cents when she comes on. I guess her house is sick too.

DH is a huge Jr. fan, and although I don't really have a favorite driver right now, I've always liked him. (I was a Harvick fan, but I've sort of fallen out of touch w/ the races the last year, so I haven't followed him. His rookie year was the year I started watching a little more, so it was easy to root for him. Plus, he did an appearance on QVC and he was SO nice!)

Hey. So, how was everyone's Valentines day? I may have missed it, but I didn't hear any stories? Anybody have anything exciting?
DH and I decided not to do any presents or anything this year. I did buy him a plant watering thing, but it was like $3 and we needed it anyway. And, since I work Saturday's, he and the boys made dinner. It was fondue, but funny "manly" fondue. (One kind was "pizza fondue" -basically ground beef, onions, pizza sauce and cheese all mixed up w/ bread to dip into it.) So, DS and DH and I all had that when I got home. DS thought it was a blast to dip his whole dinner into the pot and make such a mess.

Alright, both boys resting... time for me to make a cup of coffee and try to recharge before one gets up. Its like that game where you stack things up or put pieces in a puzzle - I can't remember - before the buzzer goes off and everything comes popping out. I have to try and balance and see how many projects I can start and/or finish before somebody starts crying or popping into the living room asking "can I come out yet?"

Its like that game where you stack things up or put pieces in a puzzle - I can't remember - before the buzzer goes off and everything comes popping out. Hi everyone!!! I hurt my back and today is the first time I can sit down at the computer without too much pain. Don't know how I did it but I'm sure it has to do with the horrible cold I am fighting right now. DH has been wonderful though. He has totally taken over the whole house while I've been so sick.

lighttech, Oh, I remember those days. Wasn't all that long ago I was dealing with that too, though not the diapers. Hope you have time to get all that you need to get done.

Ok, I know you've been waiting for my opinion on the race. Kyle Busch, Jamie McMurray, and quite a few other guys got robbed because Dale Jr. was pi**ed off at himself and not thinking. He is usually very good, even excellent at restrictor plate races, and he should have just backed off whether he knew Vickers was fighting him for the spot or not. He was driving overly aggressive and if they are going to penalize some drivers for that, they need to penalize all of them. I also didn't like when they interviewed Jr and asked about the pit penalty. He and his team screwed up but he said something about NASCAR should look into changing that rule. Why? Because "he" got penalized? I think that annoyed me more than anything. The rule is what it is and though he didn't like it that he got caught, he didn't need to suggest that NASCAR needs to look into changing it.

D&D, sending a big congrats to you about Kenseth. How he snuck out of that last wreck, I don't know. Pretty good driving there.

Well, I almost got a chance to respond, then I hear DS3 say "Yuck. I have poop all over me." I'm extremely tired, and a little cranky anyway, so the 1st thing that runs thru my head is... well, at least he can tell me. Then, it registers that he doesn't wear diapers anymore (and hasn't fora while.) How in the HE double hockey sticks did he get poo on himself?

Ah, yes, the famous exploding diaper trick. My kids were pros at that! I always kept a spare change of clothes in the car "just in case".

Surgery is scheduled for 9 am. We have to arrive at 6:30. Which means we'll leave here at about 6:15. Nice to be staying just across the street! I should hopefully be in my room by about 3, so I;ll get on here as soon as I can and let you know I'm alive and kicking (with one leg, anyway...)

M&N...when are you going to Orlando? I may be throwing together a trip at the end of April with SIL and nieces.

Trip went absolutely great. Not too jet-lagged, thank goodness, but have a nice thick gooey phlegm ball in my chest at the moment. I think its mango withdrawal. Have to really try to unpack and finish laundry. Did pay bills, which is always a good thing. Need to upload pics too. Will do all that sometime after the cold meds kick in.
