I had a wonderful time, thanks! The weather was perfect--hot and sunny. Ate lots of great fruit and grilled seafood. Hung out with friends and family. Did I tell you that I held a tiger? And was kissed by a sea lion? We went to Subic Bay, which was once an American base. Great preservation of the wildlife--there are monkeys just walking around!

Was really tough coming back to all this snowy weather...but at least I escaped for a month!

How you doing, LITC? You said things are back to normal?

Wow Kitty--sounds like an amaing trip. I'll have to visit your family there one day!!!!!

Things are getting better now, jobs (both my husbands and mine) are not on the most stable ground, but for now I just have to keep plugging away and hope for the best. We have both survived the cuts thus far-hopefully that is a good sign.

Trying to just look forward to the vaca. Maybe not the best time to spend money on a vaca, but I know how much it is going to help my stress level. I know I am going to have a blast!

Wait LITC!!! What are your dates? Will we be able to meet up? I'm there from April 25 until May 3. (early flight out though).

Glad you've gotten through the rough patch. As long as your smart about your finances and plan well, you can totally take a vacation. You need to enjoy your life too! And you have a good attitude, which is so very important.

OMG Kitty, our dates overlap, we HAVE to meet up!! We check in on May 1st. Probably will get there between noon and 1. The only time I have plans from May 1 to 3 is May 3rd in the morning we have chef mickeys ressies for my nephews birthday in the am.

Oh goody goody gumdrops! Our flight is at 5 am, so by the time you're eating at Chef Mickey's, I'll be somewhere on my way back to NY.

We have absolutely no plans at this moment. We're probably going to get base tickets, no hoppers, since there are five of us and hoppers will break our budget. Do you know what parks you want to go to on Friday/Saturday?

We're staying offsite, but have a rental car. If you want to meet somewhere, I can always meet you also. I can always go to Boardwalk also!

I just got super-duper excited!

Oh My Goodness, I can't believe I am going to get to meet our fearless leader! I feel like dancing!!!

We were thinking about Epcot on the 1st and MK on the 2nd, we have park hoppers though, so I can pretty much go anywhere. Just let me know what you are thinking for your plans. Like I said other than the breakfast I am pretty open so I don't mind where you want to meet!. So EXCITED!

Friday and Saturday will be towards the end of our vacation, and I've planned for doing two day each at EPCOT and MK. I'll have to check the hours of the parks, but it sounds great! May I ask why you chose those parks for those days? Is there something I should consider?

I really just put this trip together these last few days. I was most concerned with cheap airfare. So now comes the fun planning in the parks!

I'm excited to see the Flower and Garden stuff, and now I get to meet my friend too!

I am totally excited Kitty! This is going to be awesome. Really the only reason we picked those parks was since we aren't going to be there for a full day on the 1st, we thought we could get the most done at EPCOT since it is usually open the latest, and for MK that one was actually my sisters pick.

I think that sounds great! Of course, I'll have to run it by my three nieces first. I'll ask them which park they want to visit on their last day---I'm pretty sure it'll be MK on Saturday!
