Four Brits hit the world the TR! ***Finished***

Did you mention the monkeys at Kali and I missed it?

I love the monkeys. I could stand and watch them all day.

Which might explain my fascination with hanging out at the DIS. :confused3

Ummm well we did see them as we zoomed past to get to Kali :rotfl2: We have a big monkey park near us which we go to so they're nothing new

So what are you saying about all of us hummmm :rotfl2:

Great update Jo. :headache: On the CM's continuing to let people in...

:rotfl2: on the gettting wet pictures.

Buzz, what are you trying to say about us:confused3

David got teary eyed over Nemo?? Awwww!! :lmao:

Do you suppose everyone reading knows who "T" is? :confused3 Did you spy Waldo wandering around the queue? I forgot to say in my TR that he was lagging behind looking at all the artifacts. You must have been maybe 20 or so people behind him.

AK is just too darned hot to spend more than a few hours, eh? And you ate PizzaYucky again! Blah! :scared:

The moral at Nemo is get there early and don't even bother if the queues past the yellow dinosaur!!!! Glad you liked the rapids photos :goodvibes

Yep he's such a wuss :rotfl2:

Of course everyone knows who you are T you're famous on these TR's, I'll go add your username too :goodvibes We never saw Waldo so he couldn't have been too slow :rotfl2:

AK is just too darned hot to spend more than a few hours, eh? And you ate PizzaYucky again! Blah! :scared:
Honestly it's really nice!!!!

Ooh, I loved the frozen lemonade! We just missed Nemo...What is it about AK being soooo hot?!

I loved Nemo but many of my friends did not. I like the technical side of things and enjoyed watching how the people worked the puppets. I can see where it would be distracting to many though. Different strokes for different folks. It would not do if we all liked the same thing. Think we have wars NOW????

The real secret to Nemo is to sit on one of the benches outside the que area and wait until half an hour before the show when they start letting folks in and then saunter in and squeeze in where you can. I miss the old days when they used to let decrepit folks like me sit on the ledge by the tree outside the theater until it was time to go in. I do not mind waiting for those who stood in line to go in before going in myself but I just simply cannot stand in that line. I start to get shorter and look like I am the Wicked Witch of the West as I melt. Folks start asking if I need an ambulance too. :scared1: One young man offered to help me up if I sat on the curb until time to go in once. Sweet child does not know the risk of herniated disks and such. I declined. :lmao:

The CM's should have gotten the crowds to scoot down one way or the other to see if there was more room or set up a FP kiosk for this attraction until interest cools down a bit, IMO.

Frozen sugar water with a dash of lemon does not interest me, free or not, but I am glad you got yours. I think that they could set up snack machines at some places and even take credit cards and such. Just an idea.

Great report, especially of those attractions that you would never catch me dead on. If I ever did get on them I would die, for sure.

Another great update, I am impressed that you went to AK 2x in August, you are a brave woman. I have to admit I am a bit nervous about this park for next year.

OK, I admit I have yet to see the Nemo show, the line always is so darn long and mow reading about your experience:eek:

Aww how sweet that David got teary eyed.

 Your girls are such goofs, I love their pictures on the rapids.

I wish Everest was longer as well. It is so fun but it ends very quickly.

We really struggled to wake up this morning, all those busy days were obviously catching up with us!

Aww, you poor tired folks...

We walked right on and got soaked, but who doesn’t enjoy getting wet in AK in the August heat?

Not me, that's for sure. I loved it! :thumbsup2

It was pretty hard to get the photos as the raft kept moving

How dare it? :headache: :rotfl2:

bus to SSR and look in the Pro shop. All went well until we had to find the shop, tucked away behind the main pool, but we walked the long way round and when we got there it was shut  We knew the course was shut but so didn’t think they’d shut the shop too!!! Anyway it meant we could jump on the boat to DTD which we enjoyed.

Lost at SSR again? Or wait, in your version this is the first time, right? :rotfl:

Do you suppose everyone reading knows who "T" is? :confused3

I was going to vehemently say "YES!" but Jo beat me to it AND added your user name. :rotfl2:

Glad your computer is cooperating, wish mine would do the same.

LOVED the pics on the rapids, too cute.
Gotta love free anything at Disney. That must have been a 1st.
I dont know why so many stands are always closed :confused3

Hi,Jo! You didn't take pictures on EE?!:sad2: Glad Jess liked it.:thumbsup2
Your pictures from the rapids are great.:thumbsup2 YAy:yay: for free lemonades!:yay: I agree Nemo is good(or what I got to see of it) but not sure how long I would wait. They sure do cram the people in...:guilty:

thats awful about the shop being closed. Hope David gets his cap!popcorn::

BTW,I really like Pizzafari..:confused3

What terrible luck you had with all the stores/stands being closed! But you've got to love getting the free frozen lemonades...those are super yummy.

I'm really looking forward to Nemo, but I don't do squished very well. The claustrophobic in me comes out and I get crazy:scared: I understand they need to fit as many guests in as they can, but I also wish they understood that sometimes it's best to leave a little personal space:thumbsup2

Love the pictures of Kali. Ellie is such a ham-bone!

:goodvibes

If these pics don't scream "We're at Disney World and we're having F U N!!!!", I don't know what! :goodvibes

[We were headed for the first Nemo show (11.30am) and as we neared the queue we finally found a frozen lemonade stall just opening :yay: She was having technical difficulties though so just gave us our lemonades :thumbsup2
Sweet! :thumbsup2
[Then after all that the show was delayed, one man started chanting “start the show, start the show” about 1/3 of the audience joined in the others were probably also think OMG so unDisney :sad2:
Yikes!

[Next up do we ever find the cap??????
popcorn::

As we waited in the queue Jess spots T (DisneyLandMama) grabbing her FP’s so we shout and wave :wave2: saying we’d probably bump into them later, but somehow even though they were easy to spot ;) we never saw them
And who the heck is this T person? :confused3

Good job ... moving raft and all! :thumbsup2

We were pretty thirsty now, I think it was about 10.15am and I really wanted a float from Tamu Tamu as I’d read they were yummy and came with a cute souvenir straw but they were shut, so was every other stall/kiosk we came upon :headache: Disney really are missing out on $ by not opening them earlier especially in that heat!
Don't we know about that?!! It was awful. I needed bottled water desperately and no place to be found!

Next up do we ever find the cap??????
Cap?

Thanks for fixing the date--I worried about that all night! :lmao:

--Everest--we like it a bunch too. Was Ellie afraid? I'll have BA talk to her if so--she was super scared but then went ahead and rode it--then rode it 3 more times. The drop looks scarier than it is, doncha think?
--Nemo--how long is the show? Does it follow the movie?
--Reminding self to skip Kali in January! (The park closes at 5 pm then too .:confused3 )
--your sister had reserved the golf pro shop and course for a private party that day. Sorry--we thought you knew. ;)

Great Chapter Jo... I love the shot of flik :) He's so cute
Thanks Tanya, there was no line to see Flik either :thumbsup2

Ooh, I loved the frozen lemonade! We just missed Nemo...What is it about AK being soooo hot?!
They are yummy but I can't eat a whole one but the girls could :rotfl2:

I start to get shorter and look like I am the Wicked Witch of the West as I melt. Great idea, at least one selling water!

Another great update, I am impressed that you went to AK 2x in August, you are a brave woman. I have to admit I am a bit nervous about this park for next year.
We did only do 2 part days though and if we can do it you definitely can just go on Kali :rotfl2:

OK, I admit I have yet to see the Nemo show, the line always is so darn long and mow reading about your experience:eek: .
Not sure if I would wait that long again, I would definitely go see it again but only with little queue!!!!

Aww how sweet that David got teary eyed.
Hey shhhhh you're meant to keep quiet about that :rotfl2:

 Your girls are such goofs, I love their pictures on the rapids.

I wish Everest was longer as well. It is so fun but it ends very quickly.
They are daft aren't they, and they both love the camera :rotfl2: Glad you think EE is too short too!

Aww, you poor tired folks...
I know CE it's a tough life having to go to Disney isn't it ;)

How dare it?
Exactly how dare a moving raft ride move when I'm taking a photo  :rotfl2:

Lost at SSR again? Or wait, in your version this is the first time, right?
Yes that was the first time :rotfl:

I was going to vehemently say "YES!" but Jo beat me to it AND added your user name.
I told her everyone would know who she is!!!!!

LOVED the pics on the rapids, too cute.

Thanks and we were lucky with the lemonades, they do really need to open their stalls earlier especially in August!

Hi,Jo! You didn't take pictures on EE?! Glad Jess liked it.
Sorry Amy I'm not as brave as you!

Your pictures from the rapids are great.
Thanks, luckily our digital camera has hardly any delay :)

I agree Nemo is good(or what I got to see of it) but not sure how long I would wait. They sure do cram the people in.
It was getting silly how many people just kept coming in!

BTW,I really like Pizzafari..
Me too, the ceaser salad is really yummy!!!!

What terrible luck you had with all the stores/stands being closed! But you've got to love getting the free frozen lemonades...those are super yummy
They tasted even nicer as they were free :rotfl2:

Me too there's nothing worse than all being crammed in!

Love the pictures of Kali. Ellie is such a ham-bone!
Thanks, I'm really glad I didn't ride and got those!

If these pics don't scream "We're at Disney World and we're having F U N!!!!", I don't know what!
:rotfl2: They do don't they!!!!

And who the heck is this T person?
:rotfl:

Good job ... moving raft and all!
Thanks DM!

You know the Chicago Bulls cap that David saw at DTD and I told him to wait, we'd already been back once and they didn't have any!

Thanks for fixing the date--I worried about that all night!
Sorry :rotfl2:

--Everest--we like it a bunch too. Was Ellie afraid? I'll have BA talk to her if so--she was super scared but then went ahead and rode it--then rode it 3 more times. The drop looks scarier than it is, doncha think?
Ellie wouldn't go on, but hopefully she will next year as as you said it really isn't that bad, she likes BTMR and I don't think it's that much scarier!

--Nemo--how long is the show? Does it follow the movie?
I think it was about 45 mins and does pretty much follow the film, it's a huge part of your day though as you have to queue so far in advanced, it was good though!

--Reminding self to skip Kali in January!
If it's a warm day go for it it's great fun!!!

--your sister had reserved the golf pro shop and course for a private party that day. Sorry--we thought you knew.
She really does keep me in the dark doesn't she :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

My only complaint though was it was too short, could have done with going around again, there again I think I’m so busy making sure Jess is OK I don’t enjoy it myself, next trip yeah!

Always a next trip !!!! :thumbsup2 :yay:

Great shots!!!

we knew we wouldn’t manage all the lemonades so gave one to the family beside us, still sealed, their kids were happy!

I love hearing about spreading the magic :goodvibes
