Four Brits hit the world the TR! ***Finished***

I can't even multi-quote this because I would be laughing way too much!!! This has got to be the funniest take on that golf game ever!!!!

I absolutely love the way David told his version. Tell him he did a great job. He must have a lot of patience anyway. He does instruct people, correct?

Thanks Jo for that most enjoyable segment! :rotfl2:

Just catching up!

The rain clouds were coming, oh side note we had been incredibly lucky so far having only had a tiny bit of rain in the 11 days we’d been there :thumbsup2

You were lucky! It rained a lot on our trip this year. Mostly in the evenings...but still

But we weren’t here for starters were we, oh no bring us the steak, well except my youngest DD who *gasp* doesn’t like steak :faint: Oh well saves me some money!!!!!

My girls prefer chicken :confused3 :sad2:

We all (except Ells) ordered the Grilled 5-Oz. Filet Mignon served over cream cheese mashed potatoes, finished with a roasted garlic demi glace, Jess ordered the sauce on the side though and oh my :faint: the steak just melted in your mouth it was the best steak we’d ever had, words simply can’t describe how wonderful this steak was :cloud9: Ellie ordered Hot Dog and said that was good too!

MMMMMMMmmmmm...you're making me hungry. Think I'll pick up some shish kabobs for dinner tonight.

I'm definately booking this place on our next trip!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

The girls thought it was pretty neat going on this in the dark and with all the covers down. It was straight to sleep for my 3 angels whilst I sorted out some candy for our DIS meet tomorrow. This only took me a few minutes but look what I found.

Tired or what :rotfl2: I did take one of David fast asleep too but thought I’d spare you that one!!!!

Awww.....if only we could keep them like that ;)

Sorry I'm late sweetie--but catching up now! :thumbsup2
That's Ok

So--do you like this one the best overall?
Ummm well it was the easiest and the themeing was good, they're all good though, sorry :confused3

Tell him that I checked and he is still the leader by 2--but it could go anyday so he better get back soon! :lmao: ;)
:rotfl2: Stop encouraging him :rotfl2:

Yum!! :cloud9: I'm looking forward to this meal!!
Tell me: should I ask for a specific area??
BA is not fond of meat either but will be on the adult plan now--any recommendations?? (She likes hamburgers)
There didn't seem to be any difference in where you sat, sorry no recommendations for BA as Jess had steak and Ell's was on the kids plan! I do know though that you can get the kids food but as an adult portion if that helps!

So pleased you enjoyed it DM, lets hope Tony, Waldo and Andy do too  :rotfl2:

And yes DM he does teach people how to play, he must have a lot of patience as he teached for over 40 hours a week :faint:

You were lucky! It rained a lot on our trip this year. Mostly in the evenings...but still
We were really lucky, it didn't last though :sad2: But hey 11 days of no rain can't be moaned at :thumbsup2

My girls prefer chicken
It's weird isn't it :sad2: But cheaper :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

As the weather was so horrid we decided that MK would be empty and it was :yay: We headed straight to our favourite Buzz and walked straight on 3 times in a row, one time Ellie wiped the floor with us with a score of 277,900!
Wow--that's impressive! DM wouldn't tell us her score so it must have been higher than that....;) :lmao:

they were closing the park for the P&PP, I felt so sorry for all those people coming to that, some of them were in big fancy costumes too!
They told me there were no refunds, that's kinda sceery!

I love no lines even if the weather is so-so (I'm planning to repeat that line often during February! )

Still reading too........:thumbsup2

Oh, David. :rotfl2:

I LOVED the golf installment! Way to go! :yay:

BTW, Buzz was just standing here and he read two or three sentences that TE wrote. I have to share because I'm just so proud of him - I knew he was reading fairly well, but this would be stuff he definitely hasn't just memorized! :cool1:

:rotfl2: Poor David. Thanks for the hilarious golf installment.
Glad you enjoyed it :goodvibes

Oh you must, but if you don't enjoy it it's not my fault :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I wouldn't blame you. I took someone's advice on this past trip (not mentioning any names here :rolleyes1 ) and we totally hated the food

OMG love the Turkey/birdie reference:rotfl2:
Glad he was able to have fun with the guys. I see he was able to see Waldo in action(getting lost as usual):rotfl2:

It couldnt have been that bad if he wants to do it again:rotfl:

Oh, and now you piqued my curiousity ... if it's me that gave advice, then you ran into some bad luck. If it was someone else, then why didn't you listen to me? :rotfl:

I should get David to write all the days he's way funnier than me :rotfl2: I thought the turkey/birdie bit was pretty funny too :rotfl2: And yep Waldo was in fine form, unfortunately he won't be there next year for the rematch :sad2: So they'll be looking for someone to make up the 4 ball, who's brave enough? :rotfl2:

Whoa! Wait up there Jo. I'm still working on Waldo and TE to join us next August. TE's on board, but Waldo needs a bit more coaxing! :rotfl2:

OMG! I laughed so hard, I think I pee'd a little! So funny what David said about the turkeys being the only birdies they saw all day, as Waldo gave me the same line! :rotfl2:

I can't wait for Andy to read what David said about his game! :lmao:

ETA: Per Andy: What kind of PGA pro can't score a birdie? :rotfl2:

Coming out of the mist there was a group of birds which we found out were turkeys, I thought these were the only Turkeys I would see today, I didn’t realise I’d be playing with 3 of them for 5 hours ;) :rotfl2:

Golf Pro - Yes

Comedian - No

J/K ;) :lmao:

I noticed a cart with a set of clubs and a lot of boxes of golf balls, these turned out to be Tony (LL’s DH) my playing partner! I thought he must be a good player to buy such expensive balls!!!!!

My father plays with ProV1's but has yet to break 100. :sad2:

Upon finishing the 9th hole Waldo was convinced he knew the way to the 10th tee, he set off in totally the opposite direction to Tony and I only to have gone the wrong way! As we finished playing our shots Andy and Waldo reappeared making out they’d gone to find the bathroom, yeah of course :lmao:

Early morning beers do that to me also. ::yes::

After about 5 holes a new rule was brought into play that the highest score that you were allowed to get on a hole was double the Par. This was a bit unfair on Tony on the 12th when he made the only Par (excluding me) and the other 2 lost 2 balls each on a par 3 and both declared they’d made 6’s :rotfl:

I'm a big Fan of this rule only I've modified it a tad. I'll take the double bogie but I subtract the amount of balls I had to use to get that score. 7 on a par 5 with two lost balls = Par!!

Tony’s greatest achievement was on the 18th when he found a ball in the rough, this enabled him to actually finish the round as he’d lost the $60 worth of balls he’d bought

Uff da! :sad2: I remember playing in Mexico with a nice round rock I'd found. Worst part is those were my best holes!

Maybe it would have been better to play with the other Turkeys as they were the only birdies we saw all day :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Uh,not really. :sad2:

j/k ;) :lmao:

That was fun!

David, I'm :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: AND a whole lot of :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I love, love, love your take on the 2007 Focker-Spouse/Dad Open. Too funny! For us - maybe not so much for you ;)

WAIT a minute - I didn't know Tony LOST all the balls he bought?! :rotfl:

OMG! I laughed so hard, I think I pee'd a little!
:rotfl2: I was thinking "T's gonna pee when she reads this!" as I was reading!
