Four Brits hit the world the TR! ***Finished***

Love dthe LeCellier report I have ressie there for Feb. Will try the filet unsure about dessert but will pay oop for the cheese soup just so I try it!!

It's amazing how angelic children look when they're sleeping!:lmao:

I think I'd go nuts if I had to ride Buzz 3 times in a row, that ride gives me a headache!

I can't wait to try Le Cellier on my next trip. We will not be on the dining plan though which means paying OOP. :guilty: I'm sure it will be worth it though, at least I hope so.

Ellie is too cute in those ponchos pictures. :lmao:

Jo, you lucked out. I swear, it rained each and every day of the 24 we were there. I am not a wimp and if it had been the normal stuff it would not have phased us at all but it thundered and "lightinged" and lord it was frightening! Knocked on wood and nothing helped!! :scared1:

How did you like the pretzel bread at Le Cellier? It is my favorite bread of all. I usually get mine, on the cheap, down at the Biergarten.

What a beautiful sight to see your girls sound asleep with their rabbit. Hold those moments dear as they will be middle aged women tomorrow. It happens just that fast!!

englishrose47, I believe that I have read that you can get the cheese soup and breadsticks to go. Sitting in the rose garden and snacking away sounds like a lovely way to wile away a bit of time before you saunter down to see Off Kilter.

Great installment Jo,sounds like La Cellier was a hit! Those smores looks so good :cloud9: Cute pic of the girls sleeping!

Well as we’re leaving you know they have the best score of the day on a chalk board well guess who saw that they were the best of the day, yep David so he asked if he could put his name up :rotfl2: That made his day and he even joked how he wanted to go back later to see if he was still the leader, I wouldn’t have put it past him either, but thankfully we were just too busy :rotfl:

So all golfed out we catch the bus home about 12.30pm, we showered and just chilled for a while, the girls played on their new DS games and I read a bit, not sure what David did :rotfl2:
Maybe he snuck back to see if his name was still #1! :rotfl2:

As we get closer to Epcot it got blacker and blacker so the girls get ready for our arrival, look how Ellie just has to get in the photos :rotfl2:

So cute ...

What an empty bus and I love how you conveniently get out of the picture ...

We all (except Ells) ordered the Grilled 5-Oz. Filet Mignon served over cream cheese mashed potatoes, finished with a roasted garlic demi glace,
And this is what you had ...

Ellie ordered Hot Dog and said that was good too!
You're welcome...

Dessert was surprise, surprise an ice-cream sundae for Ellie, I’m surprised she didn’t end up looking like a sundae :rotfl:
What would you do without me?

It was still chucking it down
I love this saying. Next time it really rains, I'm going to use that and see what everyone's faces look like when they have no idea what I'm saying!

It was straight to sleep for my 3 angels whilst I sorted out some candy for our DIS meet tomorrow. This only took me a few minutes but look what I found.

Angels ...

Tired or what :rotfl2: I did take one of David fast asleep too but thought I’d spare you that one!!!!
Well, you know I'd tell you to post it! :rolleyes1

We dried off and headed to the Winter-Summer Land Mini Golf, we’d already played the winter course earlier in the holiday so Sand Course here we come :yay:

I have GOT to hit the mini golf one time. In 15 trips I've never done it. :confused3

OK score time David, Ellie and I all had a hole in one and it was a pretty tight match!

The par was 56
Jess 46
Ellie 44
Me 39
And horrible hubbie 37

Great scores! The Man Won!! ::yes:: ...as usual. :snooty:

So all golfed out we catch the bus home about 12.30pm, we showered and just chilled for a while, the girls played on their new DS games and I read a bit, not sure what David did :rotfl2:

I do. Secretly guzzled Guiness in the bathroom with the door locked. :smokin:

We decided to catch an Epcot bus around 2pm and as I wanted to stop by the front desk, pay off some charges etc, we agreed that they would catch the nearest to 2pm Epcot bus and I would only get on if I saw them! Well OMG it was hot today, when I got to the stop of course an Epcot bus just arrived and they weren’t on it  I almost melted waiting for them, even under the shade of the mod bus stop ;) About 20 minutes later they finally arrive and we were off.

This is why we rent a car. ::yes:: Epcot's a 7 minute drive from any resort.

Man Tip - When you arrive at the parks late in the day (say after lunch) tell the parking attendent you left a spot up front just a little while ago and they'll let you drive up there. You WILL find a spot as people leave early all the time.

As we arrive the rain really starts coming down but we have a date in Canada, so ponchos on and we’re on our mission. We arrive right on time and quickly check in, we get seated in Yukon right at the back of the restaurant, now I’d read that the tables were really close together in here but we didn’t think they were that much closer than other places :confused3

Le Cellier is a great place for lunch. We love it. I didn't think the tables were too close either. :confused3

For entrée Jess and I had the tomato stack, it was OK, David had the shrimp again OK and Ellie had a garden salad, she still says the Spoodles one was by far the best, she became somewhat of an expert in the garden salad department :lmao: But we weren’t here for starters were we, oh no bring us the steak, well except my youngest DD who *gasp* doesn’t like steak :faint: Oh well saves me some money!!!!!

My daughter found she likes steak now. Not good. :sad2:

We all (except Ells) ordered the Grilled 5-Oz. Filet Mignon served over cream cheese mashed potatoes, finished with a roasted garlic demi glace, Jess ordered the sauce on the side though and oh my :faint: the steak just melted in your mouth it was the best steak we’d ever had, words simply can’t describe how wonderful this steak was :cloud9:

Oooohhhhh.... you're making me soo hungry right now. That steak is awesome! No cheese soup?

Dessert was surprise, surprise an ice-cream sundae for Ellie, I’m surprised she didn’t end up looking like a sundae :rotfl: Jess and I both had Smores which were not what I was expecting at all, they were basically 2 thick chewy cookies sandwiched with vanilla ice-cream with a big marshmallow sticking out the top, yummy though even though I did give my marshmallow to Ellie! David had the chocolate moose and said that was good too!

No carbs for Buzz. :sad2:

That's a great Buzz score. My personal best is only 220k.

This was the day we left Jo and my mother told me about that rain. We apparently took off about 20 minutes before it hit. I;m glad becasue we had already been delayed an hour. Glad you were still able to get some things done though.

We loved LeCellier too, but I had the same reaction the shrimp appie that David had. I thought it was kind of bland. The steak though was Awesome:thumbsup2

Ellie and Jess look like angels when they are sleeping:angel:

Almost meet time. :cool1:

::yes:: Steak = Gud.

Great update. the food does sound delicious. glad you had a nice time. too bad for the rain. does not seem to have slowed you down much.

We love LeCellier too, Jo! Tell David we ate there twice on our 7-night trip. DH loves the steak there. And DS had the moose twice...now an adult dessert so it's extra! :headache:

Bummer on the rain but I guess it's really hard to complain about one wet afternoon on such a long trip.

I love those quiet hours before the ticketed events. That really is a great time to go to the MK! :thumbsup2

That blasted rain ruined my IROE cruise! :headache:

So I wonder if David's gonna run over to the mini golf next August to see if his score's still up? :rotfl2:

Aha! I knew you loved IASW - I remember how you dragged us all on it on EMH morning. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

WooHoo!!!! You're almost there!! :woohoo:

Major TR change, David was just reading the golf scores and apparently they were the wrong ones, whoops, he still beat me though!

We played the snow course and I had 6 holes in 1 :yay: DH had 9 though!!!!! The girls both had 2 :thumbsup2

So scores.........

Par 56
Ellie 46
Jess 45
Me 33
David 31!!!!!
