Fountain of Youth: GFR's Ponce De Leon level

Five hundred Aprils ago, Ponce De Leon claimed Florida for Spain and began his search for the legendary Fountain of Youth. Of course, he and subsequent explorers never found it.

Fast forward to April 2013.

We stayed at the Grand Floridian's Ponce De Leon level last week and acknowledged the 500th anniversary of the initial search for the Fountain of Youth. Too bad the Spanish explorer couldn't have waited until 1971 when Walt Disney World opened. Then he would have discovered the Fountain of Youth.
