I'm not sure of the current exact price, but it was around $2.20 or $2.30. If you drink a lot of soda and plan on being at the resort a decent amount, it can be worth it.
Yes, it can be if you're there hanging around the pool, or are close enough to run and get coffee first thing. If you're willing to carry it around, you can fill it on your way out to a park, and grab a refill on your way back to the room at night.
It's a shame they can't be used IN the park - that would be a good deal. I'd even pay $20 for that!
If you want to do the actual math, can you answer these questions
1. How many soda's do you drink per day?
2. How many cups of coffee do you drink per day?
3. How many days will you be spending at WDW?
4. How much time will you be spending at your resort?
What I was looking to do was divide the total amount of the refillable mugs by the al a carte cost of a fountain drink to arrive at the amount of trips to the food court I would be making in order to break even. Then consider my decision from there.

At the CSR fountain drinks are $2.39 vs a Refill Mug for $13.99. (this doesn't include tax).
So doing the math, you wuld have to have 5.854 fountain drinks each to break even with purchasing a Refill Mug. Remember, refills are only at the resort you purchased from.
