Found really cheap Uggs, and now wondering if it's too good to be true???

Well, of course, they're not on the list.

So now what? Give my DD knockoffs and hope she doesn't notice???? :sad2:

I guess I don't understand how they can advertise that they're selling "UGGS" and yet they're not. :confused3

Cancel the order. If you can't cancel, contact Visa/MC/Paypal (whatever form of payment you used) and explain it to them. You should get your money back.

Good luck!

I bought a pair for my daughter about 4 years ago from one of those "unauthorized" sites and just like the OP I thought I was getting a good deal and didn't realize they were fake. I bought tall boots for about $115 (retail $180) so cheaper but certainly not cheap. I realized that they were "knock offs" and was upset about it but didn't know what to do, so I gave them to her for her birthday as planned. We have a lot of UGGS in our house and honestly there was very little difference. They were grey and the real UGGS has a white label and these had an off white or beige label, but other than that they were identical. The boots ended up lasting several seasons and were very good quality. Now I'm not a supporter of buying a knock-off product or supportive of those who sell the stuff, but I was kind of stuck and it turned out OK. I actually just made her throw them out at the end of last winter and replaced them (made sure I bought from an authorized dealer) and will again give them to her for her birthday in Dec. OP I'm just trying to say if you can't stop the transaction, it might be OK. Now you know to check the dealer first to make sure they sell the real thing. We buy most of ours from Online Shoes or Nordstrom. Good Luck!

My Sister bought a pair of Uggs last year from Uggs.com. Little did she know that their online site had been hacked by someone in China, and her order never went to Uggs, the Chinese man sent her knock-off Uggs instead. When she contacted the real Uggs, they told her what had happened. She just contacted American Express, and they refunded her money, and told her to keep the fake Uggs. I'm sure some people never even realized that they had purchased fake Uggs, when they thought they were dealing with Uggs.com.

did you look at their shipping section? its blank! :confused3 faq also only list questions about their certificates and there are no product reviews. the website was set up in such a rush they didn't bother to finish it. also for a website with the union jack on it, the grammar is a bit off. it listed a handbag section, not handbagS. the currency conversion also seems off. i would contact your CC company ASAP about this one. chances are they will not ship an order and if they do it will be fake.

so sorry this happened to you, i just hope that people on the board reading this will take this as an example and examine any website that seems too good to be true.

Thats because that is not their website. Their authentic website is at uggaustralia.com

I bought counterfeit Uggs a couple of years ago for our dd. WHAT A MESS THAT ENDED UP BEING. First of all....I didn't realize people actually did this. :scared1: The company was in CHINA and I didn't realize they were SELLING FAKES. The website looked legit to me. However when my daughter tried them on she knew right away because she had tried some on at the mall. There were really small. So I called the Ugg's company asking if they made them in different parts of the world and the ones at the mall were bigger because of that. She said no that she bet they were fakes and they told me what to look for on the boots as far as their trademarks. One thing on the FAKE website was they had spelled Ugg's as UGGS. YEP THEY WERE FAKES. I send an email right away to the FAKE company. The email correspondence was insane. Their English was so broken up in the correspondence it was hard to even understand. I ended up getting most of the money back less some shipping I think and the FAKE Uggs were ours to keep. They were too small for my daughter so we gave them to a friend and told her they were fakes but she didn't care. LOL

As someone already stated, uggs.com is not the official ugg retail wwebsite. The real one is uggaustralia.com and any other website using the word "ugg" in their URL is selling counterfeits. Nobody hacked that website, it was a fake one to begin with.

Note the web site was only created a few months ago.

I went to their web site and their "contact me" only has e-mail.

They do not have any "terms of service" or "privacy policy"

Oh, that is really bad. Call your credit card right away. In addition to worrying about fake boots/no boots, I'd be worried about your credit card info being stolen.

Good luck!

Okay, I realize that I need to stop this transaction.

I paid via Paypal --- not my credit card. Good or bad? What do I do?!??!

Try to be brief and to the point. Your points:

1. I made a purchase from this Web site believing I was buying authentic boots.
2. I later learned they were counterfeit. Include the official Ugg Australia page that lists their only verified sellers.
3. I have not received the boots and do not want them.
4. Please refund my money.

Also email the seller and tell them you want to cancel/refund, but that's probably useless. Focus on PayPal. They have excellent buyer protection.
