My grandmother is joining us at the fort this weekend. She's 78 but still in pretty good shape so it shouldn't be hard to get her around. If she get's tired I'll rent a EMV. I think we're going to go to AK and MK and of course be doing the MNSSHP on Sunday night.
I'm more of her 6th child than I am her grandson as she pretty much raised me. She took my youngest aunt and I to WDW several times right after they opened along with many other trips. I remember getting the magnets of the monorail and the Mickey hat with your name embroided on it. Those were the days when you had the passes for each land and you had to buy more if you wanted to ride more things. She hasn't been for many years so I'm sure it's going to look way different to her. There was no Splash and Thunder Mountains and Mr Toads Wild Ride was still there. I'm telling my age now lol.
Although I've been dozens of times since her taking us it's going to be neat for my daughter and my niece is going along too. They're fortunate to get to go with their great grandmom. I doubt too many kids get to say that. She keeps hearing how fun the fort is and finally decided to tag along.
I'll be sure to post a trip report as usual.
