I am sooooo happy that I actually found two of them at Wal Mart for $4.99 each! That is all they had too... and I have been looking all over for them. I'm pretty excited.
I did pick up a pack of the refill filters there also.
They still have them "all over" here for full price. I picked one up today for myself. I will only pick up more if they go down. I need filters though, I am not spending full price for them.
My sister in Phoenix found me some at her Wal-mart, on
clearace for $4.50 ea. She got me the last two !!
I couldn't find them anywhere here, either !!!
I know e-bay has them if you can't find them !! 9 more days to go !!
I was watching and watching for them and I finally found them at our Wal-Mart on clearance - both the bottles and the filters --- and then found them at the local supermarket (not on clearance) - for about the same price ---- go figure
No Stop & Shop around here so I was able to pick up 2 2-packs off ebay for a total of $6.40 shipped. Not as good as $2 but probably the best I will get

Ebay has them for like triple the price you pay at the store and about 12 people fighting for them..no thanks.
There is actually one up for $7.99 BIN right now if you are still interested. Not as good as the clearance prices that are some are finding but at least it wouldn't be a bidding war. She has 13 available and she is another DISer (she says so in her auction and no it isn't me)
I found them a few weeks ago at CVS, and I know I've seen several other people post that they've found them there as well. $7.99 for the bottle, $7.99 for the refills.
I just bought a Brita bottle at CVS last week. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the water! It doesn't have a taste AT ALL. I was worried that it would taste funny from the filter.
The instructions say the filter lasts about 100 uses.
I paid $7.99 for the bottle, $7.99 for one pack of extra filters at CVS. But today I caved in and went to Walmart (yuck) where I found the filters for $3.50. So I'll take back the CVS ones. I remember now why I NEVER go to Walmart! But THANK YOU to the DISer who said the filters are in the aisle with the plumbing supplies. I never would have found them!
Now I just need some sort of insulated sleeve to keep the bottle from sweating all over everything else in the backpack...
Don't have a problem with it sweating since we dont fill it til we are in the parks (or the Zoo or other places - love those things!) and then keep it in the pocket on our stroller or else dump it after we get our fill.
I still have not been able to find any! I even looked on Brita's website and all they have are the replacement filters. I guess I need to dig in and keep looking!
