Found a greyhound :

That's a great story! Glad he's back home with his family now.

Oh that story warms my heart! What a lucky dog to have found you! He knew who would help him.

Wow, really such a happy ending. I'm thinking he thought maybe he found familar territory when he spotted the ramp. Such a sweetie. So glad he found his family.

Great ending to this story. You certainly were this puppy's guardian angel. :flower3:

I am in tears. If ever my fur babies get lost, I hope they find their way to your home. :grouphug:

That is so great!!! I love happy endings :cool1: !!! You are so nice to take him in and keep him safe until you found his family. I also have a greyhound that is not chipped, but I am glad he was.

You are my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful ending, and I know you will be blessed for what you have done. :thumbsup2

I'm in tears reading this, thank you thank you thank you for taking care of him and finding his family. :cheer2:

Wow - what a great end to the story! How cool to see the grey reunited with his family. Thanks for stepping up to the plate!

Add me to the "tears in my eyes" group. What a heartwarming story.

Ok, I took him to animal control, he did have a chip... . The family was at work, so animal control wanted to keep him over night, I said no and got the phone number and we went back home. I spoke with the owner who lives 10 miles from me:scared1: and she came and got him, the kicker was, he had been missing since sunday night, somehow he gotten away from the house whenever one of the kids opened the front door and the reason he was so friendly with my dd is because the lady is in a wheelchair :thumbsup2 and their house has a wheelchair ramp on the side of their house like mine...geez that was a smart doggie. The lady offered me 300.00 reward money  oh that was hard to turn down, but I couldn't in my rightful mind take money from someone for returning a furbaby. The doggie went wild with excitment whenever he seen them, it was priceless ! all is well at my house tonight, and my new 5 month old puppy says thank God...hehehe:rotfl2:

What a happy ending.

I think you're terrific!

He obviously felt safe with your family. It must have been priceless to see how excited he was to see his family.

I love good stories like that! I imagined I would have had the same kind of story with the Shih Tzu I took it but unfortunately it didn't work out that way for her - yet. She'll just find a forever home that will care about her like this dog was cared for.

I'm so glad he found you!!

Great ending indeed.

Write it up and send it to your paper. The world needs more good news.

I've been keeping up with your story, and I've seen the thread you have posted on the doggie you have found, you have already done so much more than me, you have took such good care of this furbaby. God speed to you in finding her a forever home. I know it's hard, I was so lucky, please keep us posted.

I'm so glad that the lost dog found such a kind family to take care of it, and am glad that the dog's owners were found. :goodvibes

Awwww, I'm so glad that he "found" you and then you found his parents:)

What a great ending!!! What a coincidence that his owner is in a wheelchair. I guess your house looked the closest like home to him.
