I also had another curious question.
Does anyone know how the HHN hotel packages were last year? I remember seeing commercials, thanks!

Edit: UGH .. HHN last season/year didn't have ANY Dates during my trip.
I don't see why, but they only do Friday/Saturday the 1st week (no Sunday, the only time throughout Oct) and no Thursday, the only time throughout Oct. Only Friday and Saturday for the week I am going (as of 2004) ... but the next week is Sunday/Wed/Thurs/Fri/Saturday =\ .. wish they would remove Wed from that week and add Sunday to my week! Well, looking worse and worse, as this schedule matches up with the schedule from Universal's website (as to closing times)

I've been looking to see if this question was answered somewhere else but so far haven't really found it ... Is HHN only in 1 park or both? How does this work if you have bought a 1-park/1-day pass for the day but then want to Stay and Play for HHN? Since we can only allot 1 day to Universal, we were planning on doing the Studios during the day but were hoping to hop over to IOA for HHN - is this going to be possible?

Also, for the Express Pass, is this available only for the actual HHN or do you purchase by the day (meaning, if we are in the parks early does it work then as well)?

Last year, they had Stay and Scream areas in both parks. No one knows for sure which park or if both parks will be used for HHN. All we have is specualtion at this point in time.

The express passes are specifically for HHN as they have the houses and any rides that are open during HHN. I doubt that you would be able to use it during the day.

I can only answer part of your questions. last year HHN was held in both parks for the first time. They have not announced where it will be this year yet.

I thought last year they did do some Sun / Wed / Thurs .. thought maybe I was going crazy (I went on Halloween last year, too long of lines) .. can't wait to go this year. Hope they do have Wed or atleast Sun, although it seems US/IOA close early on these dates when HHN will happen, but not on Sun/Wed/Thurs of the 1st week.

Hey there, just checked out the new site with the dates on it and it doesn't look like they will be having the horror nights anytime between 2-6th of Oct. Your best bet will be to go on the night of the 1st if you really wanna see it that bad. Just an fyi. Hope you have fun.

yup, we've made .. quite a few adjustments, went from oct 2 - 6th to oct 1st - 9th .. tho might be lowering the days since disney is $$
