Sounds like you had a good time. Thanks for posting such nice pictures. It's nice to live vicariously through someone else! Awww, the fort.... someday I will be back.

So you did have a good time? It kinda sounds like you had a lot of issues... Your original site taken, bathrooms not 100%, loud campers, pool crowded.

I am a little surprised by the bathrooms. When we went in 2008 they were fully functional and spotless.

And... what's with the "don't mess with me" face you have in the horse stall picture? lol

Yes we had a good time! Sorry if I gave the wrong impression - I just reported the issues on disboards as I saw them - as info - we didn't dwell on them or let it ruin our trip. As far as the horse stall face - that's DH - I think he was just melting from the heat.... The bathrooms were still spotless - I've been to 2 state parks since our Fort trip and the showers I used this past weekend had black moldy shower curtains.....DD who is 11 kept saying "this isn't Fort Wilderness"
