Fort Wilderness LIVE-Trip report

I had heard that in either the 100, 200, or 300 loop was a sinkhole. Any truth to that?:confused3

Not that I saw but I would believe it, I noticed the last couple of days we were there that the water pressure was unusually low for Fort Wilderness, not horrible but usually turning on a faucet while connected at the Fort is like turning on a fire hose. It was the first time there I felt that the pressure was low.

Possibly it could have been related or possibly it was just the the fort was busier than I am used to.

Glad y'all got home safely! thanks so much for doing the trip report, I really enjoyed it.

It will probably be two years this time before we return, we have decided that it is probably time to sell and upgrade the motorhome, so we will probably list it soon and hopefully be ready to buy again for an early 2016 trip. Not an easy decision, it is funny how you can form a bond with a vehicle but we have many many happy family memories in it.

Glad you made it home, mightyX. I too appreciated your trip report updates.

And I understand about the attachment to your RV and the memories therein. I went through the same thing when I traded in my popup this spring that we had for 10 years and 175 camping nights. But the important thing is spending family time together and making memories because all too soon they grow up and can't vacation with you anymore because of their own schedules.

Great job, man!

I am not quite ready to let go of this trip yet so here are a few more pics.

We discovered spice road in Morocco this trip. Very good food, great dark beer and other drinks, no ADR needed but still a sit down. It will be one of my regular stops now.

The port was delicious, we had never tried port before but it was very good.

Exploring forgotten Disney. Some sneak pics of River country. I love checking out Disney Past. River Country, and the Fort Railroad. I would give anything for a tour of Discovery Island, but am not quite willing to risk being banned for life to explore, so now I just stick my camera through the fence.

I enjoyed tour TR alot. Thanks for taking the time and effort. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear you and your family had a wonderful trip. Loved all the pictures and updates. I had planned to do that myself last trip, but somehow I managed to get all relaxed and stuff and just did not want to get onto a computer.

The only time I lost water pressure at FW was when I found a salimander stuck in my screen at my external water filter.

I am glad your family had such a good trip. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us - I really enjoyed reading about it.

Thanks for sharing! The photos of River Country make me soooo sad!! :sad1:

We have good memories there with our children - also Discovery Island, and riding on the Fort steam train.
