Well, we are still here; well the Fort is about maybe 3% full now. With 2 weeks of new tree plantings, it is hard for you to see the RV’s from the road and most sites are also now isolated by trees and plants. We are still trying to get into both River County and Swamp Trail but, so far no luck.:thumbsup2

That's great to hear, I am happy that they are putting in more trees. Are u staying thru Labor Day? Are u keeping cheryle on the cart?

Me too. I agree that putting in some shrubs and trees to provide more solitude between sites and loops is a great step.

Now if they would just use a heavy hand and apply LOTS of fertilizer to make them grow up and fill out in, say, 12 months, that would be fantastic! :thumbsup2

PS-try to get a Cast Member or Manager or somebody else "in-the-know" (like a bus driver :rotfl2:) to tell you what the landscaping plan is.

You don't need shrubs and trees to keep people out just a dog fence

Lots more trees for decorations come Christmas at the Fort! Had no idea FW was so thin with camper this time of year. Will have to look into adding another trip in August to our annual December trip!

I like the new sign on the 300 loop.

It is good to see that they are still working on improving the Fort.

Too bad the old sign was broken, I'll bet there are some folks here who would like to have one of the old loop signs.

If you see them replacing any other signs, ask them if they are just going to toss the old one. Maybe they would let you have it.

I don't know why I would want it, but having one of the old signs would be cool, wouldn't it?

Almost all of the sign have been replaced and they break all of them

Well after the all day and night rain fest the fort is flooded and we have the budwiser frogs outside of the trailer

We will be tent camping at the fort this fri thru labor day. Is the whole grounds flooded? I noticed the chance will be 40% thru the weekend. Do you think it will still be flooded?

First time tent camping at the fort, and want to be prepared.

Thanks!
