We left NC at 5 this morning and were rolling along fine until we hit stopped traffic on I95 in SC for about an hour... There was a vehicle on fire that had to be dealt with. Finally rolling again and hope to be at the Fort by 4. Longest trip to FL ever, but the destination is worth it!! Can't wait to relax and unwind for 8 nights! See you soon!

Continued safe travels to you and your family. Let us know when you arrive and what site you land. :yay:

We finally arrived at 4:30, after the longest drive from NC ever! Parked in site 212, and currently enjoying the pool with the kids. It's good to be home!!

party: Awesome :jumping1:

Keep us updated.

Spent day 1 at MK, with a pre-opening breakfast at CRT! Focused most of our time between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, and even tried a few new things to us. Kids really enjoyed Carousel of Progress! We split up when husband and boy decided they needed a rest, so girl child and I hunted autographs (Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters were a hoot!!) and photo opportunities, including a few magic shots. Came back to camper for a swim and a light dinner, then back to MK for a few more rides. FP+ worked well for us and the kiosks are easy to use.

Day 2 at Blizzard Beach. Fun slides, but lots of stairs! I may weigh less at the end of this trip!! Afternoon rest at camper during the rain, then off to DTD for dinner at Raglan Road. Loved the music and dancing! A bit of shopping then home to sleep, as we are off to HS this morning.

Sounds like a good 2 days so far. If you do lose weight while visiting Disney you'll probably be the first I have heard of.
