Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys about the birthday party. My horse turned 25 on Monday. She's probably the most well loved horse in the barn. So we're having a birthday party for her on Sunday. It's going to be a riot. There's about 30-40 people coming. I've ordered a cake that's white cake and raspberry filling with her picture on it with pink and purple flowers. They've got a scavenger hunt planned for the kids along with a mini-horse show (I guess they like to go in the arena and pretend to be horses). There's going to be lemonade and other snacks. We're decorating her stall with purple decorations... she is a princess after all. princess: And she's getting a birthday bath, hairclip, and ribbons in her mane and tail before the party. She's really going to be the belle of the ball. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Who knew so many people would come to a party for a horse???????? :confused3 The lady at the bakery started laughing at me when I explained that the cake was for my horse's 25th birthday. I guess they don't' get too many of those requests...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You go, girl! A 25th birthday for a best friend is a wonderful reason to party.

Oh, speaking of soda, I tried your mezzo mix [I think that's what it's called] at Club Cool - it was good. I did like Beverly, too - I think Soarin' was a little surprised.

I am jealous of your horse, honu. I would love a cake w/ raspberry filling. Please take some pix, so we can have a piece of virtual cake!

Yes, I imagine the bakery lady relayed the story of the "girl wanting the horse birthday cake" to lots of other customers.:lmao:

buttered popcorn...I think that's my favorite flavor. Something about the strange symbiosis of flavor and texture ... I really dig it.

oh, and if Tink's bringing the drinks, I'll get the Sonic ice.....

Buttered popcorn is interesing. I kind of like it, but I have to be in the mood for it. I love any of the orange flavors and cherry. No cinnamon though! Yuck!!!!!!

how fun!!!!!

It should be really fun. I love a good barn party.:banana::banana:

Thanks! I thought so too. Especially since that's like Super Senior in the horse world. If we were going to IHOP, she'd definitely get the discount! :lmao: I need to find tiaras at the party store. I hope they're not too expensive. :confused3

Yup, Mezzo Mix good. I still have a few cans of it here. I found a place on the net to order it from. You're are the only person I've met who likes Beverly. Most of us spit it out... :rolleyes1

I'll definitely get some pics of the cake. I'll try to get some pics of her too. I was going to go with carrot cake, but honestly, I don't like carrot cake... :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: She may get an oatmeal granola bar though and LOTS of carrots. I think I'm going to try to drive over to Portland on Saturday to go to the horse store and get her some treats.

I'm sure the staff had a good laugh over it. It's not every day you make a birthday cake for a horse... :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Cheerios are evil.:maleficen

:thumbsup2

Why be a cheerio when you can be a FROOT LOOP?? :upsidedow

i like licorice :teeth: (are we talking about jelly bellys still?) i also like pear.

Ooh, the pear ones are good.

I'm glad you enjoyed that Honu!!

And I love licorice. Jelly Beans or otherwise...

I like red licorice does that count?

We have similar non-taste in Jelly Belly's, than. :rotfl:

Then we'll have to have a non-licorice Jelly Belly party one of these days. :woohoo::woohoo:

I like pear. I also like the Dr Pepper (whoda thunk? ), the marshmallow, the coconut, the chocolate pudding... most of them.

I like most of the fruity ones and the cotton candy.

I like most of the fruity ones and the cotton candy.
I like the red, too, but DH says no, that's not real licorice.
Yeah, the fruity ones are good. Mmmm. And cotton candy.

I used to have a 5 lb bucket of Jelly Bellys that DH got for me at costco. Those lasted me three years, believe it or not. And everyone else ate the majority of them, not me.

popcorn:: I'm here...I'm reading ....trying to see what is going on with all of you....BRB:flower3:

[haven't taken picture yet]

how many people here coordinated a 1200 person global conference at wdw at the dolphin and in the middle of the night, while in PJs, had a japanese couple enter the room and refuse to leave so that you actually had to start making some noise to get attention so that somebody would call the house detective?

anybody?

anybody?

:lmao:when i read this and got to the words....anybody? Anybody? It reminded me of Farris Buhlers day off where the teacher kept asking questions and after each question, he said that, to the class of falling asleep students:rotfl:

and that would have just floored me if this happened...

it started quietly, but my voice quickly became louder and louder as they refused to leave and began putting their suitcases in MY closet. it was sorta like, "STELLA!!!!":teeth:

they were part of the conference, which was the hilarious part, 'cause they had to come see me for all their conference stuff. HA HA! i get that they were tired, but COME ON!!!! the front desk was quite apologetic for giving a dupicate key to them.

I could not imagine.....and the pictures you posted have been removed so i cant see them.

Honu, we are all so proud of you. Your bravery inspires us all. I know you will be doing that Marathon, too. I am just waiting for all the pix!

I will second and third and forth and fifth that  you Rock!

Cheerios are evil.:maleficen

But i love Cheerios :sad1:

That would be totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, if we go to the right location beforehand, there won't be any M&M's left for any of us, so we won't have to hide them from you! :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

Thanks guys. That's really helping me get through this. I've been struggling the last couple of days. It's not easy having to think about doing this all over again.

Oh, and I use that blanket everyday Debbie, it reminds me that I'm not alone.:hug::hug:

You are right you are never alone. Will the same surgeon be doing it again? If so you know you are in great hands. And you are well loved.:grouphug:

OMG!!!! Hidden Mickeys!!!! :lmao:

:rotfl:good catch :rotfl2:

I like the red, too, but DH says no, that's not real licorice.

I'm going to count it as "real" licorice. I used to like the grape licorice too. :thumbsup2

Yeah, the fruity ones are good. Mmmm. And cotton candy.

I'm going to have to go to the grocery store and get some today. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I used to have a 5 lb bucket of Jelly Bellys that DH got for me at costco. Those lasted me three years, believe it or not. And everyone else ate the majority of them, not me.

Wow! I had no idea that they came in that size. Do they still have that at Costco? I'm going to have to go look.

Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.

Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that part in Ferris Bueller! :woohoo:

Thanks! Some days I feel like I'm alone, then I come here and realize that I'm not. It's very nice to know. :grouphug: I love you guys too. I'm not entirely sure what I'd do without y'all! :grouphug:

At this point, we're not sure. I really like my current surgeon and I'm wishing that he does the next surgery, but it may be a completely different surgery the next time around. They may have to take out my adrenal glands, so for that I have to go to a different guy. :sad1:
