Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here more. I really haven't been feeling that well the last few days. But I'm hanging in there. Keep your fingers crossed everyone. I got some blood work back today and it's something we need to keep an eye on. The numbers were not what we were hoping for in regards to the surgery. Hopefully it's just my body over responding and will correct itself over the next little bit. That would be the best case scenario.

Praying for you that all turns out well.
yikes!!!! keep me away from them or i'll get into trouble.
I need to take a picture of my Alice in Wonderland purse I got a couple years ago and post it for you! Funny story about how I wound up with that... We were finally near WDW on our second travel day and my mom's purse up and fell apart. Handles fell out and everything. So, the next morning (our first full day there), before we went over to MGM I think it was, we went to DTD and she and I went in World of Disney. She let me pick one out for her to buy, with the understanding that she'd give it to me when we got back home. No way was she using an Alice purse in the "real world."
Hey guys. I ended up in the ER last night. I'd been having some pain in my upper abdomen for a few days, but tried to write it off as indigestion. I have a very high pain tolerance, but I finally broke down. They did an ultrasound and determined that I have a large gallstone causing all the pain, and so I need to have my gallbladder removed. I just got back from the consultation with the surgeon. It's scheduled for next Tuesday, unless the pain can't be managed with the meds I was given, or I start to turn yellow, which would indicate a blockage and require emergency surgery. I guess you really do start to fall apart at age 40.
Will be praying for you! Sorry this is happening. My grandmother had hers out in the late 1980s. Even then, she didn't have a ton of trouble, and technology was a lot different back then that it is now. Hopefully you should be up and at 'em within a few days.
I leave for WDW in two and a half weeks - woo hoo!!!! But, being laptop-less, I'll be missing my DIS friends - except for Soarin who will be my tour guide.
Tink, just for that, I'll have to eat a WDW rib in your honor!
Debbie, perhaps you can do moi a favor when you're down there. If/when you go to the Studios, can you peek in Sid Cahunega's shop near the entrance/exit and see if they have an Ilene Woods autograph for sale? If so, how much does it cost? Trying to think of something to do for my mom, and since she's loved Cinderella since she was little, I was thinking that might be something to get her, if they have it.
Hey Wonder....do you do the tea party deal at GF?
I wouldn't really call it a deal but maybe an event.

I would like to try it once.
I would like to try it. Is it a group setting or you just drop in 2-4:30?
I've done it once, and will again next month. You need to make an ADR. I wouldn't chance not having a reservation, because some days are completely booked. It's very pretty, and very quiet. You can order several different package type deals (tea, sandwiches, combo of desserts) or order a la carte. We do the latter. The Gardenview Blend was the best tea we tried last time, out of three.
