Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

That's exactly why I shouldn't be doing that. Don't ever hand chocolate to the woman on steroids! :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: I will inhale it faster than you can say AHHHHH!

Thanks Wonder!

Unfortunately, it's going to take a bit. My body basically has to go through a withdrawal/weaning process now, it's a little bit like what a drug addict goes through (as explained to me by several doctors). The only difference is that my body is addicted to it's own steroid production, not something that I've put in it intentionally. But we'll get through it. Sleep is my friend! And of course all your prayers and good wishes help too. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Hey Honu...I'm glad you've finally come to terms with your addiction. Admitting you have a problem is the first step towards success ;)

And SM :grouphug:

debieandroo!!! ebates just sent me a lovely e-mail message. THANKS!!!

DEBBIEANDROO!!!!! don't you have a trip to leave for in a few minutes or something?!?!?

thPlane0003.gif

Well, DS ate it last night when you didn't jump on it. He walked around chewing on it. :lmao:

debbieandroo is going to WDW, she doesn't get ribs. She can get ribs there. :snooty:

I leave for WDW in two and a half weeks - woo hoo!!!! But, being laptop-less, I'll be missing my DIS friends - except for Soarin who will be my tour guide.
Tink, just for that, I'll have to eat a WDW rib in your honor!

Wonder, thank you again for ebates - I just earned 9 dollars for buying a new dryer....and I'm glad you're getting credit already.

I want that recipe!

Me, too Honu!

And again, I'm so sorry you are not feeling better - I hope sleep does you a lot of good and you're still getting tons of prayers from our end.

Be careful with that getting old thing, SM! I hope you're feeling better soon.

Thanks again for all the good thoughts.:goodvibes I am just so thankful right now for pain killers.:cloud9: :rotfl:

oh kewl! those rebates add up pretty fast...i'm glad YOU'RE already getting rebates!

i'm excited for you and your trip. i adore the flower and garden festival, and i adore how not crowded the parks have been when i've been there for that...hope the crowds are reasonable for you too. and the weather.

will you have a chance to have tea at the GF? i just love it, and especially on days when it rains, 'cause you can sit there all cozy watching the rain through the big windows. if you do have tea, DON'T FORGET THE TRIFLE!!! i know i keep saying that, but it's delish.

do you have ADRs yet?

you packed yet? :teeth:

Hey Wonder....do you do the tea party deal at GF?

I would like to try it. Is it a group setting or you just drop in 2-4:30?

i try to make ADRs for it, and i like the 2 - 3 p.m. time frame. that way i can have breakfast and be pretty hungry for my tea. i have had SOME luck just walking in, but they can be pretty busy.

the lounge is set up like a restaurant, with tables and servers for each individual party. they don't mind if you go by yourself either, which i have also done, and had lovely tables in the lounge. the last time i was there, the boyfriend was with me, and he regretted not getting the grand tea, so kept trying to snatch some of my delicious treats. so go hungry, get the grand tea with TRIFLE, and don't miss a single morsel...delish!

I think I'll talk Mike into doing this since I have 5 months unit our next trip. Thanks!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here more. I really haven't been feeling that well the last few days. But I'm hanging in there. Keep your fingers crossed everyone. I got some blood work back today and it's something we need to keep an eye on. The numbers were not what we were hoping for in regards to the surgery. Hopefully it's just my body over responding and will correct itself over the next little bit. That would be the best case scenario.
 Praying for you that all turns out well.

yikes!!!! keep me away from them or i'll get into trouble.
I need to take a picture of my Alice in Wonderland purse I got a couple years ago and post it for you! Funny story about how I wound up with that... We were finally near WDW on our second travel day and my mom's purse up and fell apart. Handles fell out and everything. So, the next morning (our first full day there), before we went over to MGM I think it was, we went to DTD and she and I went in World of Disney. She let me pick one out for her to buy, with the understanding that she'd give it to me when we got back home. No way was she using an Alice purse in the "real world." :rotfl:

Hey guys. I ended up in the ER last night. I'd been having some pain in my upper abdomen for a few days, but tried to write it off as indigestion. I have a very high pain tolerance, but I finally broke down. They did an ultrasound and determined that I have a large gallstone causing all the pain, and so I need to have my gallbladder removed. I just got back from the consultation with the surgeon. It's scheduled for next Tuesday, unless the pain can't be managed with the meds I was given, or I start to turn yellow, which would indicate a blockage and require emergency surgery. I guess you really do start to fall apart at age 40.:rotfl:
Will be praying for you! Sorry this is happening. My grandmother had hers out in the late 1980s. Even then, she didn't have a ton of trouble, and technology was a lot different back then that it is now. Hopefully you should be up and at 'em within a few days.

Debbie, perhaps you can do moi a favor when you're down there. If/when you go to the Studios, can you peek in Sid Cahunega's shop near the entrance/exit and see if they have an Ilene Woods autograph for sale? If so, how much does it cost? Trying to think of something to do for my mom, and since she's loved Cinderella since she was little, I was thinking that might be something to get her, if they have it.

Hey Wonder....do you do the tea party deal at GF?

I wouldn't really call it a deal but maybe an event. http://allears.net/menu/menu_gft.htm

I would like to try it once.

I've done it once, and will again next month. You need to make an ADR. I wouldn't chance not having a reservation, because some days are completely booked. It's very pretty, and very quiet. You can order several different package type deals (tea, sandwiches, combo of desserts) or order a la carte. We do the latter. The Gardenview Blend was the best tea we tried last time, out of three.

i'd love to see which one you have...i have a reddish one with sequins and one that's navy vinyl with the tea party on it (also wallet and glasses case). They had a backpack which was very difficult to resist, but i just never use backpacks.

and have the trifle!!!!

I have two Tink backpacks; one is dark and light blue with silver glitter, the other is gray, green, and lilac. I never use either because I'm afraid people would stare at me. :rotfl:
I have Tink purses and a wallet. Necklace, earrings...I used to wear them until DS kept trying to pull them out of my ears.

English trifle sure does look good.
