i have recently seen satin shorts making a comeback. well, i haven't actually seen anyone wearing them but i have seen them in one of the surf shops. and they were fluro orange.

Indeed. I was but a mere dream in the 70s. I made my debut during the big hair and big shoulder pad 80s.

hmmm...i'll look it up, but are you thinking of sterling holloway per chance? he did disney voice overs (frog footman in alice for instance). but i think fractured fairy tales was edward everett horton.

I knew about EEH [one of my VERY favorite sidekicks] but he didn't have a disney connection [at least he wasn't the person I had heard about]. hmmm...trying to think this one through...maybe the disney guy just appeared on the fft's as a character and was featured in WDW attractions...

...or maybe I just dreamed it up - I heard this on the WDW Radio podcast from a couple of years ago [I'm listening to back episodes] but this was just a couple of weeks ago that I heard it - oh brother...

edward everett horton did do fractured fairy tales narration. i also loved him in flying down to rio, top hat, and shall we dance with astaire/rogers.

Good ole Chef Donald! I actually have a sculpture of Chef Donald from the WDCC series.

I've told him both times that I've seen him there that the restaurant should be named Chef Donald's and not Chef Mickey's.

You're probably tucked safe into bed by now, but I hope your surgery goes well. Having confidence in your surgeon will go a long way .
