Former AP holders going through Disney withdrawals...a pre-trip report (with pics!)

Hi there, I love the Disneyland pics!! Thanks for sharing. And as for the ones of you in the shirt, I think they look fine! I know it's probably harder for you because you might be thinking about how it did look or would have looked before the 20 lb gain, but to me, it looks good.

And if you are looking for a "baby bump" you can find that on just about anyone! LOL The media is always playing the baby bump game now and it's so silly. Shoot, if some actress has a big lunch they say she's pregnant.

I know. The baby bump game in hollywood is pretty ridiculous.

I guess it's just hard because we've been married a couple years and everyone is expecting us to have kids. So we're constantly being asked about it. I worry if I look pregnant in an outfit people will get all excited for no reason. It's bad enough when we go out to eat, if i don't order an alcoholic beverage (I rarely drink) people think it's because I'm pregnant. Ugh. So annoying.

I may end up wearing the orange shirt anyway. I really like it.

Over the weekend, as I mentioned before, we went to the botanical gardens. I loved it there! I took a ton of photos...here are some of them....

There were a lot of little waterfalls. This one had a couple benches by it.

I really liked these but I'd never plant them in my yard because they had dozens of bees on them.

These were in the English garden area.

I made DH pose for a photo.

More streams and waterfalls.

I want to plant some of these.

They had a bunch of model trains that were really neat. A bunch of the buildings were replicas of buildings in our town. It was awesome. I've always loved trains.

They have a huge rose garden but not many were in bloom right now.

These were taken over in the Japenese Garden. There wasn't much over there yet. I think there are plans to do a lot over there though.

Right near the gardens, they also have a place that has two huge, old train engines. My husband and I both really like trains so it was pretty cool.

I loved it there and I can't wait to go back!

I'm glad you like the photos. I have so many Disneyland photos and yet I realized I still don't have some of certain rides. I'm going to try to take photos of just about everything on our trip in January.

My husband and I have sort of wanted a Wii for a while, although neither of us had played it. But it's hard to find and super expensive so we never really thought much about it.

But this weekend we played it for the first time. It was really fun. My brother and sister-in-law brought it into town this weekend when they visited so we played it a little Saturday night.

Now I REALLY want Wii...mostly because I want Wii Fit. If it weren't for Wii Fit, I probably wouldn't be able to convince myself to spend that kind of money on a gaming system.

Has anyone played Wii Fit? I really think that would help me lose a couple pounds and get into better shape (I am SO out of shape!) I only played a couple games. I did the hula hoop one. It was fun but we all look so stupid playing it...haha. I also did this ski jump one but I was only able to jump once. I just couldn't seem to stand up quick enough....haha.

So last night we decided to stop at a couple places on the way home to see about Wii. Of course it's insanely hard to find still. And Wii Fit is even harder to get. But it sounds like Toys R Us might be our best bet. They get Wii in about every other week and it goes on the shelves on Sunday mornings. They get Wii Fit every couple weeks. They told me to call on Saturdays to see if they have any. So that's what I'm going to do. Wish me luck!
