Former AP holders going through Disney withdrawals...a pre-trip report (with pics!)

I have both the Wii and the Wii Fit and I love love LOVE them both! I agree about hula hooping, I feel ridiculous! Good luck on finding them both!

No, I want to get a new one. And I want to get it from a well-known place in case there's something wrong with it.

We watched the video that was taken of my brother, my husband, and me doing the Hula Hooping and it was hilarious! We look like we're having seizures or something.

I always wanted to tape myself doing it, just so I can see how ridiculous I look! I need to convince my friends to come over and do it, just so I can see how funny it looks.

I'm still on my quest for wii. I called three Walmarts and two Targets yesterday. Target pretty much has no clue when they'll get any in.

Walmart #1 (about 5-7 minutes from me) wasn't very helpful. The guy seemed annoyed.
Walmart #2 (10 minutes from me) was somewhat helpful. She told me they usually get it on Tuesday/Wednesday and to call on those days after 10:30.
Walmart #3 (15-20 minutes from me) was really helpful. They also get them in on Tuesday and Wednesday days. He said to call at 11.

So at 10:40 today I called Walmart #2. It was a different lady and she seemed annoyed. She said they haven't finished unloading the truck yet so she doesn't know if they got any. She said to try back in an hour.

I just called Walmart #1 and they are still the least helpful (which stinks because they are the closest.) I asked to be transferred to electronics and she didn't even transfer me. She aksed what I need. I told her I was looking for a Wii. She said they don't have any today. I asked when they'll get more. She also said they usually get them on Tuesday/Wednesday but so far they haven't gotten any today. They never know if they are getting them in advance. Then she said, "Your best bet would be to just check walmart everytime you're in." Uh...Lady...I only go to walmart once every few weeks. And odds are there won't be any Wii there. So annoying. She just didn't want me to call anymore.

I just called Walmart #3 and they are definitely the nicest over there! The guy told me they didn't get any today but to feel free to call every day if I want. I told him that some of the other walmarts were kind of annoyed. He said if people are rude I should speak to their manager because I have every right to call as much as I want. So even though they are far away, I'll definitely call them just about every day at 11am.

I tried a 4th Walmart. This one is almost 30 minutes away. He said they won't get any until later in the week.

Good luck on getting the Wii and Wii Fit. I know some people have had a really hard time with it. And it certainly doesn't help when the store staff is rude!

I got Wii, Wii Play (it came with an extra controller), The Price is Right, and an extra nunchuk controller. Sadly, they did not have Wii Fit. So now I just have to call all the walmarts often and hopefully I'll have Wii Fit by this weekend.

I am HORRIBLE at all the games so far. They are hard. It's going to take a while to get used to the controllers.

Whoa, the Price is Right is out? I didn't think they were realeasing that until November. Geez, where the heck have I been? Let me know what you think about it! I grew up watching that show and loved Bob Barker as the host! It just isn't the same anymore.

So far I really like all of the games we have. I just played the Price is Right for a bit. I apparently have no concept of how much things cost though...haha. I did win over $10,000 on Plinko though so that was cool. We're a little sad there's no dice game though.

The Biggest Loser: Families starts tonight. YAY!! The first time i ever watched this show was last season and I loved it. It actually motivated me to use our elliptical while I watch it. So that's good.

I managed to get Wii Fit today! Woo! I played it earlier and banked 20 minutes of time. I did the fit test before anything and it told me my BMI and stuff. It also gives you your Wii Fit age. Mine was 12 years older than I actually am! Yikes! But my BMI was in the normal range, at least.

I think I might start some sort of Wii Fit blog to keep track of my progress. And then I won't be babbling about it here in my pre-trip report anymore.

I promise that in the near future I WILL talk about Disneyland. I need to continue going through my thoughts on each attraction.

For Wii Fit, all your really need is a Wii game system. Wii Fit comes with the board that you have to stand on. And the Wii system comes with one remote control.

We bought:
--Wii game system (comes with one regular controller, one nunchuk controller that is needed for some games, and a Wii Sports game.)
--Wii Fit (comes with balance board)
--Extra nunchuk controller
--Wii Play game (comes with another regular controller)
--The Price is Right game

Everything is pretty expensive. But so far we're really enjoying it. And Wii Fit will probably put me in much better shape.

I don't cook or bake much...but I really want to buy a cute apron. I found a bunch that I like. They are $30 each. I can't decide which one to get. If they were cheaper, I'd buy all of them. These are the ones I like best....

Fall Roses (we all know how much I love Fall!)

Blue floral (It's cute a spring-y)

I'm glad you like the OT posts. I always worry that people are super bored with them. But at this point there just isn't much trip planning to do so I just babble about my daily life...haha.

Alice is a good ride. I've only been on it a handfull of times though so that's why I'm hoping to get back on in January.
