Aw, please don't feel guilty about it. I know it's easier said than done, but you guys are spending a lot of time, money, and effort to travel all that way... it should be ok for you guys to spend time at a place that you two love so much and has such a special history for you.![]()
If I were you, I'd use the MM to get on Nemo 1st thing if you haven't been on that ride yet. Sounds like people think it's worth it to go on only if the line isn't insane - which it is unless you get there 1st thing with MM. Then you can probably run over to Fantasyland and still get on the dark rides without too much of a line. That's what I'd do anyway.
I adore that Christmas apron! How perfect for Christmas baking! The other ones are super cute too. But I have to go with your DH on the brown w/ pink polka dots - that is just so adorable!
I love the first apron, with the polka dots. And the 50's apron would be my second choice.
Do you know I've never owned or worn an apron in my life.![]()
Now my husband likes the roses one best. He thinks it's the most "classic" looking. He's probably right. I really want something that looks like what a housewife in the 1950's would wear. Haha...yeah...I'm weird. So now I think I'm leaning towards that one. And it's Fall colors which is nice.
That's a winner too! You'll have to take a pic of you in it and share with us.![]()
Ooooo! I love aprons! I love the 50s Kitchen Apron especially. My mom had all of these old 1950s apron patterns and I begged her to make me one. I picked out a cute baking pattern material and she whipped it up (hopefully she'll teach me how to sew one of these days).
BUT the 50s kitchen one is so retro cool! My thoughts are that if you are going to wear an apron, you might as well go all out!
I think I might get one--what is the site called?
I am enjoying your pre-trip report.
Ithe story of your engagement. That makes Disneyland one of your very special places if for no other reason that getting engaged there.
I love photos so I am glad to see you including so many.
Can't wait to read more.
The designer/company that makes them is Jessie Steele. Their website is http://www.jessiesteele.com/index.php
There's a section there that lists different places to get them online. Different sites sell them for different prices.
This site has them with the cheapest shipping I've found - http://www.mainstreet-store.com/jswomen.shtml
Also, amazon.com has a few of them. If you decide to get one, let me know which one.
I'm about 99% sure I'm going to end up getting the rose one.
Thanks for joining my report!![]()
They are all very pretty. I do like the rose one. I was going to get the Kitchen one, but I found one on her site that I liked better. It was a black and white French style one (it matches my shower curtain...hehe) called Cafe Toile. http://www.amazon.com/Jessie-Steele...2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1220657934&sr=8-2
$30 is a little steep for an apron IMO, but I'll try amazon and the other store to see what I can find.
You and your husband are one of the cutest couples I have ever seen. I'm really enjoying your pre-trip report.
Those are really cute pins you got from eBay. There's no way I could afford to get into pin trading, there are way too many cute ones!
Those aprons are adorable. I love the brown and pink one and the Christmas ones, but those aren't really everyday aprons to me. The flower ones are a good choice.![]()
I'm sure there was more I was going to respond to, but my brain is completely fried right now.
I'm looking forward to reading/seeing more!
Hi there!
