Formal/semi-formal clothes??

What do most adults seem to wear on formal/semi-formal night?

What can the young children wear during these nights that would be considered formal/semi-formal?

Our last cruise was a 3 day Wonder, so we never had a formal or semi-formal dinner.

I just returned from the Western 7 dayer and formal and semi-formal evenings are pretty easy to wear for.

For myself, I brought my black suit, dress shirt and tie. My 11 yr grandson wore a sports jacket , dress shirt and tie also. Wife and adult daughter both had on evening type dresses.

For semi-formal, worn a sports jacket, dress shirt and tie.

I saw tux's and gowns also, It's your preference. I could not see myself spending the extra money for a tux's for one evening. The black suit was more than adequate.

We agree we saw allt typs of evening wear I took My black sports jacket gray pants and chinos and two long sleeve sproys shirts to miz and match the same for our 2 sons but guess what wast forgotten at home in the hall closet yep there sports coats DW took a few long dresses enjoy and where what you have no need to buy something new
