Formal Nights

Do what brings you bliss on all nights and don’t worry about other’s expectations!

My family loves to dress up so we ”dress for dinner” every night. I wear party/cocktail dresses for regular nights, a formal evening gown for Palo, and another formal gown for formal night. My daughters and I plan out Disney themed outfits for daytime. It just makes the cruise more special for us so that’s the way we do it. I don’t care if the party sitting next to us is all in jeans and t-shirts. I’m a people watcher and a style-blogger so I ALWAYS notice what others wear, it’s fun for me, but it’s not a judgement thing.

Wear what brings YOU Bliss!

I agree that saying "dont worry about what others are doing" feels silly to me. Most people do care what others are thinking in a large social environment. I won't dress formally when other people at our table are wearing t shirts and shorts. I wish I genuinely didnt care! What a relaxing way of life that would be. But....
I'd love to see Formal Night as a ticketed event at Palo/Remy. A dress code for attending and a very nice dinner. We'd be happy to pay. Then those not wanting a formal night, and those wanting one would both be happy. Just my 2c.

I dress up for court which pays for my cruise so I will bring a picture of me in court if asked why I’m not dressed up.

My wife and kid are on their own for excuses. Hope they got something clever to say!
When they come up with something I'd love to know what they say! lol

Is that a Western or Eastern? We are doing an Eastern on 4/2. I know the two cruises usually have different itineraries.
Hope you had a wonderful cruise and wondering if you remember the dining rotations and when was pirate night?
