Forgotten reservation?

I am pretty sure I made a reservation for a rental car for our upcomming trip, when i got a discounted rate. But now I can find no trace of it around the house.

Anyone ever track down a lost reservation when they had no idea which company it was with? What happens if we dont show for the reservation? Will we still be charged?

You should get an email reminder close to when the rental is.

Do you keep your e-mails when you make reservations? I always put all of mine in a folder until after the trip. That way, if I have any questions, I just open the folder and the information is there. You should have gotten an e-mail when you made it, confirming that they have your reservation.

I did that once with a Parking area near PIT. We couldn't go on our trip and I was able to cancel everything (had not made airline reservations yet) but forgot about the Parking area. Before I deleted my folder, I double checked and saw where I hadn't called to cancel that yet so I did so at that time.

I believe if you don't pick up the car, you'll be charged one day on the CC you used for the reservation but I could be wrong. Good luck.
