Forgot about placeholder

I just realized that I had a placeholder that I forgot about and did not use it when I booked my cruise today. If I cal DCL (after the next few days of opening day craziness) will they be able to apply that to my cruise or did it has to be used upon making the reservations. Can’t believe I forgot to use it!!! Thanks

Pretty sure you would have to cancel the reservation and make a new one with the placeholder. Sometimes they can cancel it and regrab the same stateroom, but not guaranteed. If it is one of the popular cruises you may want to call tomorrow. Sometimes prices can increase rapidly.
